Johto Tales:
Pokémon Amber

The sun began to rise over the horizon, tween, Amber slowly awoke from her deep slumber. She silently got out of her bed and walked over to her mirror. She started brushing her long, wavy green hair. Amber then put on some clothes, a green frilly mini skirt with a gray belt, a long sleeved black and white striped T-shirt, covered by a plain green t-shirt. She then put on knee-length black and white striped socks and plain black sneakers. She then added a thigh belt with brown strap and green pouch to her outfit before leaving her bedroom.
As she walked out of her bedroom, she looked into the large mirror that covered the upstairs hall wall. She stared into it with her eyes, one of which was blue and the other was green. She smiled softly to herself before walking downstairs to the kitchen.
In the kitchen her mum was finishing washing up some plates when Amber walked in. Her mum, Sarah, turned around and smiled towards her. Amber ran up to her and they hugged.
"Today's the day huh, Kiddo?" Sarah asked her, smiling down at her daughter
"Yes," Amber nodded "I'm off to Goldenrod"
"You always spoke of joining the Radio, but I never thought you'd do it" Sarah's eyes were filled with tears
"I know," Amber hugged her mum tightly "I'll come back"
"I hope so," They let go of each other "I'm so proud of you"
Amber smiled "Goodbye Mom" Amber walked to the front door and opened it. She breathed in deeply and took the first step out into the town of Azalea.

Amber looked around to see the typical bug catchers trying to catch the wild butterfree's, and the slowpokes laid around the town, minding their own business. Before leaving for Goldenrod, Amber had planned to meet Kurt, the Poké Ball creator, as she had requested some custom Poké Balls.
Amber took a slow walk to Kurt's house, which was at the north of the town. When she reached his front door, she knocked twice, before ringing the doorbell. Kurt slowly opened the door to her, and smiled as he did so.
"Well Hello there, you must be Amber" Kurt moved out of the way, so she could come in.
"Yes sir," She smiled and walked in "It's finally nice to meet you Kurt"
"Thank you my dear, if you'd just like to go into my study. Your custom Poké Balls are in there" Kurt closed the door and led her to his study.
On the desk in his study were 7 Poké Balls, which had Green where the Red should be, and what should be white, is now black. Also, just above the button, on the green half of the ball is an 'A'. Amber picked them up and smiled. She then put them in the pouch in her Thigh-Belt. She hugged Kurt.
"Thank you Kurt, they're lovely"
"That's okay my dear, I wish you luck in your adventure"

Amber left Kurt's house, almost as quickly as she had gotten there. She then began to head west, in the direction of Ilex Forest.
