"That's the last time I play the tart for you Gerry." Sandra screamed after she'd had to go out to a meal with him and pretend to be his partner.

"Come on Sandra, I'm not that bad anyway no one would ever think of you as a tart." He tried to reason with her but this was all in vain as she was in way too bad a mood, he'd pushed her too far this time.

"Yeah right Gerry, so I had to pretend to be your wife a couple of times in the job that's fine but this is the third time you've used me for a person reason. I don't care if that woman won't leave you alone. Maybe the first time was okay because I got a free dinner out of it, but the second time I thought I warned you about touching me and then tonight you decided to kiss me." She carried on screaming at him.

"I wouldn't say I used you, to the outside world it could have just been a friendly meal, maybe not the kiss but can you really blame me? Come on Sandra, you're more than alright."

"You're prehistoric Gerry, I know most men judge by looks but I thought we women were becoming more important in views and personality."

"Did I ever say I didn't value your view and I love your personality, God I only said you're stunning."

"Yeah well don't. I'm your boss, bosses don't do this kind of thing and as your boss you shouldn't be being like this to me."

"I'm also your friend as it happens, and friends can do this."

"Really? Because Jack and Brian are my friends too and never have they made me pretend to be their date or kissed me or tried it on with me."

"I haven't tried it on with you… yet."

"Oh stop it Gerry. You're just being stupid now." Sandra told him having calmed from screaming but the angry tone was still present in her voice.

"No, Sandra why can't you just accept I love you?!"

"And what, be your tart? No thanks."

"Sandra you will never be a tart let alone my tart. I love you and I think you're being like this because tonight I've made you realise what the rest of us know."

"And what's that then?"

"You've slowly fallen in love with me too." She went a whiter shade of pale as what he'd said began to sink in.

"No, you're all obviously confused or just plain mad."

"Really? Because your face just told a different story and I bet if I kissed you now you'd kiss back without even thinking about it." He gave her no time to process this let alone reply before he pulled her into his arms and let his lips collide with hers, and as he'd said she kissed back "See. After that Sandra you can't tell me you don't feel anything for me."

"I never said I felt nothing for you, I feel annoyed, angry but yeah there is something else." She said the last part of her statement so quietly it was almost inaudible.

"You what?" Gerry questioned her.

"God, I know you're getting old but you need your hearing checked. I said you annoy me and make me angry."

"I heard that bit, what did you say after that?"

"I didn't." Sandra said as she began to blush.

"You need to learn to stop lying when your face so clearly tells the truth." He kissed her again and this time she knew she'd have to tell him at a volume that was audible to humans and not just dogs..

"Okay, I do love you too but remember I will never be your tart."
