Chapter three "The big meet"
"Who's there?" Muttered princess bubblegum. Princess bubblegum had a stern, but frightened look on her face, Finn knew he had to reply. Finn stepped out from behind the metal contraption. "It's just me…" Said Finn looking at his feet, He knew that princess bubblegum would be upset that he had invaded her home. "Finn" Princess bubblegum said, her face getting extremely red. "I'm sorry that I came in without permission, it's just that, Jakes missing, I looked for him all night, and I was hungry, so I came here, hoping you could lend me some energy candies…" Finn said looking at his black shoes. "You can't find Jake, I can't find cinnamon roll or the marshmallow kids, they've been missing for a few days." Said princess bubblegum, Tears flooding her beautiful pink eyes. "Don't cry princess…, We need to find them all, Including rain-a-corn, She went missing last night, That's why I need energy candy, I need to leave and go look for them." Said Finn, looking worried. "You can't possibly go looking for Jake in Ooo forest now, it's much too dark, also the screechers are out. "Screechers?" Said Finn looking up "Yes, screechers, There evil beings, they only come out at night, and only in Ooo forest, they take anybody that wanders near their home." Said princess bubblegum. "Princess, W-what if they took Jake, rain-a-corn, cinnamon bun, and the marshmallow kids, they always wander in the forest." Said Finn looking concerned. "They are more mature then that, they wouldn't get out under my watch." Said princess bubblegum, Crossing her arms. "Well I should go, Could you lend me some energy candies?" Said Finn, Holding out his weak hand. "Why should I after you invaded my home, my room, my lab?" Said princess bubble gum, her eyes filling with anger. "Really?, I came all this wa-, Never mind…" Said Finn while walking to the window. Finn ran to princess bubblegum and tore a piece of her hair off, He tied it to the sill and stretched it, when it was finally stretched he dropped it to the ground. "Ouch!" Yelled princess bubble gum, Tears running down her cheeks. Finn walked over to princess bubblegum and cradled her sweet face, He pressed his lips against hers, He felt sad about leaving her, He let go of her face and ran to the window, He hopped onto the bubblegum rope and looked back at princess bubblegum. The tears of pain she cried were still running down her cheeks, She didn't look like she was in pain, She was shocked, her face was now beat red. "Finn w-wait..." Said princess bubblegum, reaching out. Finn desperately wanted to stay, He wanted to hold princess bubblegum, Hug her. He looked away and slid down the bubblegum rope. Once he got to the ground he pulled the bubblegum off the sill and tucked it inside his bag, as he started to walk away, Princess bubblegum walked to the sill. "Finn, It's not safe out there, P-please." Said princess bubblegum, Tears still running down her cheeks. Finn looked up at her, He felt hurt too, He looked at her beautiful face one last time, He truly didn't know if he would ever see it again after tonight.
