Today was the day of Claire funeral , I got dressed in my black suit as Michael helped me do my tie "you alright man?" I nodded as he finished off my tie and walked down stairs "you guys ready?" I asked Michael and eve , they both nodded as we walked outside getting into the car.. I would have normally called shot gun and sat in the front.. But for today I wanted to be alone.
When we got to the church.. Everyone was quite at the grave.
I stood at the grave stone trying not to cry , the stone read
" Claire Danvers , missed by everyone"
I wiped my eyes as the funeral started.
There was so many people here ... Vampires and humans.. It seems like Claire was loved by everyone.
I miss you... I whisper softly to myself as I hear Michael talking
" Claire , what can I say about Claire.. I guess firstly I have to thank her , I mean without her , half of us would probably not be alive , she saved so many life's , she was a true hero. I was lucky to know her. I love you Claire" he wiped his eyes as eve took Michaels place.
"Claire bear , my best friend , oh gosh , you was always there for me weren't you? I mean after everything you always held my hand and lead me the right way.. I'm going to miss are girly talks , late night movies , I am going to miss you.." She started crying as Michael took her hand pulling her into a hug as Myrnin stood up to talk.
" I've known Claire for many years now , but since she started working with me she's always been more than just someone who helps me... Ah yes she was my friend.. And I will forever miss her" he bowed his head while everyone turned to look at me... My turn.. Deep breathes ... I can do it... I walked up to stand infront of everyone..
"Well most people will know me as Claire's boyfriend or room mate , but you see Claire meant so much to me and I don't think anyone understands that.. Since the day she came to the glass house all beaten up .. I knew I loved her.. She .. She was always there for me... She helped me though the bad times and the good and always stuck by me.. I remember .. Me and Claire planning a future.. A little girl.. To get married.. To be happy... "I sighed while tears ran down my cheeks "I love you Claire, I know you can hear me and I want you to know.. It's you.. Your my soul mate and ill love you forever " I blew a kiss as I walked away..
