The bus was just like any other school bus: yellow, boxy, full of mismatched kids and a disgruntled driver. There was one slight abnormality in the atmosphere. No-one seemed to notice it, acting like normal first or second graders on their morning trip to school. So when the bus pulled into the drop-off area, no-one was able to distinguish the feeling that any animal should recognize. The bus tenant walked up to bus number six and motioned for the driver to open the door. The bus driver just stared ahead, as if he was deaf and couldn't see the tenant. After a few seconds of banging on the door, the tenant got on his radio and told the driver to open up.
