Okay, don't be mad. I know that I haven't updated recently, but I was taking a ten day break just to clear the mind. For those of you that read Snow, Santa, and a Whole Lot of Sonny, you know that I am attempting my first multichap. After watching The Wedding Planner, I had an epiphany. This story is kind of based on the movie, but not entirely. And now I present: The Wedding Planner by Mandi Christelle.
Disclaimer: I don't own SWAC. I do own Hammond Weddings.
Dedicated to storylover18. I love you, honey!
The Wedding Planner
"Jess, we need a status update on the Wong-Bigelow wedding. Tabby is breathing down my neck for the details."
"Osborn, I want all the reports due by 5:05 sharp. I have a meeting with Raymond and I can't go without them."
"Hey, you! Get me some coffee from the break room, will ya?"
"Jessica Nichole, how many times do I have to ask you before you sign the order form for the lilacs? Miss Freer is very uptight and is calling every hour about it!"
A day in the life of a professional Hollywood wedding planner is not what most would call fun. The fast pace of the job was jarring to rookies and professionals alike, and dealing with whiny, PMS-ing celebrities is very difficult. That's part of why Jessica Osborn loved her position as senior consultant at Hammond Weddings. The feeling of satisfaction you get from calming an Angelina Jolie or a Taylor Swift is immeasurably high.
A sharp knock on her office door woke Jess from her trance as she reflected on the years that had come before. "Who is it?"
"Celle."
Celle Jacobi was Jess's trusty assistant at Hammond. Despite being a stereotypical "dumb blonde", she was pretty capable and was very good at working with people.
"Come on in, Celle. What's up?"
The petite girl tiptoed in as if she possessed some secret that the world thirsted to know. "Well, Jessica, you may or may not like this."
"Go on."
"We have a couple sitting in the waiting room that wants to see you. Supposedly the husband doesn't know who you are."
Jessica froze, dropping the forms that she was holding. "Who I am or who I was?"
"Who you are. You might find him to be a bit familiar."
Celle pushed the door open to its full width to reveal a tall, anorexic-looking woman (Jessica didn't like her already) and a blond-haired man.
"Chad?"
It's soo short but I needed some way to start the story. Any guesses as to who Jessica is? Let me give you a hint- this story is Channy. I will update soon! Please review!
