"Finn, what're you doing?" Kurt stared at Finn with distaste as he moved further and further over the sofa towards him.

"What? Nothing." His face was pale and Kurt noticed he was looking anywhere but the TV screen, on which The Woman In Black was playing, the sounds of yet more creepy music to set the scene filling the room.

Kurt sighed, looking back at the screen with a bored expression. He didn't find horror movies scary at all; he knew they weren't real and could never be, so what was the point in getting scared?

Finn's pale face evidently showed that he did not think the same.

"You're not scared, are you?" Kurt said, his voice laced with amusement as Finn winced, eyes set reluctantly back on the screen.

"Of course not. It's good, I'm good, everything's good." Kurt continued to stare at him, a hint of a smile on his lips. Finn looked at him once before sighing dramatically. "Fine, I'm scared. The film is creepy as hell, how can you NOT be scared? I mean...just...the WOMAN! She's terrifying!"

Kurt shook his head. "It's not scary because it's not real. Simple."

"No, but, it could be. It COULD be real, dude."

Kurt sighed once again, continuing to shake his head, partly amused and partly shocked at Finn of all people finding a stupid little movie scary.

"I'll go make popcorn," he said, getting up from the sofa and walking out the room to the kitchen. He counted in his head, 1, 2, 3, 4... before Finn ran in, panting slightly and running his hand through his hair. He smiled bashfully.

"Just thought I'd...help, you know." Kurt laughed, head thrown back at the sheer hilarity of the situation. Finn was supposed to be the tough one out of the two of them, yet here he was, shaking like a leaf at a woman who was just dressed up in a black robe…thing.

"You're really that scared?" he asked, emptying the bag into the popcorn maker and turning it on.

Finn was silent for a minute before he answered simply with "Yeah."

They were silent for a while, the sound of the TV the only noise stirring the air, before the popcorn started popping suddenly.

Finn immediately screamed, jumping high into the air and grabbing at Kurt's shoulder.

"Finn, it's just popcorn, calm down!"

"It gave me a fright!" Finn said, hands curling together.

"We are never watching a horror movie without Carole and dad here again. Bad idea. Even BLAINE doesn't get as scared as this, and that's saying something."

Finn shrugged, unable to answer. The popcorn was ready a few minutes later, and Kurt poured it into a big bowl for the two of them to share. They went back to sit on the couch, Finn trailing reluctantly behind, not wanting to watch the rest of the movie but also not wanting to completely lose face.

"I swear to god, if you drop that popcorn, I'll set the Woman In Black on you." Kurt said, curling back into the sofa.

"Don't joke, dude. It could happen!" Finn sat down closer to him this time, body involuntarily leaning into Kurt's for support.

"AH!" Finn screamed again, clutching on Kurt's arm so tightly he almost cut off the circulation.

Kurt stared at him blankly. "I'm ashamed to call you my brother."

"But...how can you not find this scary? It's...oh god, no, Kurt she's coming help help help..."

Another scream reverberated around the room, yet this time Finn jumped into the air, too. Unfortunately, he had hold of the popcorn bowl.

"FINN!" Kurt screamed, face set in stone as popcorn rained down over his head.

"She's gonna eat us all oh my god I'm done bye." With that, Finn sprinted out the room, the sound of his music almost immediately coming on loudly from up the stairs.

Kurt examined the mess around him and sighed. Finn was going to pay for this.
