Karl POV
I hate her, I really do; she is stuck up, conceited, insufferable, intolerable to even be around. And yet... I find myself gravitating toward her. Sometimes I even find myself thinking that tea with her mother, the beautiful Ellen, is little more than a pretense. Does she enjoy reading mysteries? Does she dye her hair? What does she see in that imbecile Wes? Why do she and her best friend always speak at the same time?
Then she opens her mouth and a torrent of hate floods my system.
Curse her.
