Hi there, this a poem about Shirley's life. Also I have an easy challenge for all who are interesting at the bottom of the page. Check it out if you want. If you see any spelling mistakes please tell me. Ok on to the poem.

Sorrows of her life

A peaceful life, a life of bliss.

A life without trouble, fear or risk

A school, a crush, surrounded by friends

But time moves forward and everything ends

Movements in the dark, something's going to start

I hear about but it's not really real to me

I'm still safe so I don't need to worry

Then it leaves with a flutter and a fly

A hole in my family, my heart can only cry

Standing in the rain I wonder why.

He can't be part of it, I hope it's not true

My worst fears confirmed,

What should I do?

It only took a moment, a movement, a sound

Her look of triumph turn to horror as she hits the ground

.

What have I become? Where do I go?

Is this man speaking to me a friend or a foe?

He tells me everything I know is a lie

We are sinners and sinners must die

But I can't pull the trigger, I start to cry

Then all is lost when I look into his eye

.

Blissfulness, then confusion, then blissfulness again

I have forgotten what I had become, I had forgotten my sin

A year goes by without a find

As they twist and turn the truth in my mind

.

My heart in a flutter, loves in the air

She says she was hoping we'd get together,

I'm so happy that I don't care

But night comes and the curtain is lifted, everything comes back

And I'm having trouble seeing fantasy from fact

I run in a dream without a task

All who I know are wearing a mask

.

I must confront him, I'm so afraid

I wish these memories of my would fade

But after a fall, he wouldn't let go

I realize I still loved him so

Even through this corruption, pain and scare

I would follow him anywhere

.

How did this happen? We are on the same side

Above me he stands, the man who lied

He cries so hard, this world he made

And so I tell him I love him as I start to fade

.

We will meet again, you will see

Until then he will have to wait for me

And when I am reborn again

I will still, always love him

.
