There were so many choices, but none were good enough for him. The boy with friendly green eyes, Miharu. The shelf's were lined with different heart shaped boss with various amounts and types of chocolate. Yoite walked the aisles until he found it, a box filled with chocolate strawberries. He remembered how the boys eyes lit up at the treats when they went to Hanabusa-Obaasan house.

After paying for the dessert Yoite began the walk back home. On the route home he saw Miharu's middle school, Yoite scanned the front of the school and smiled as he found him. Suddenly a girl walked up to Miharu and handed him a bag with a heart on it. Yoite smile vanished as the girl kissed Miharu right next to his lips. Yoite dropped the bag with the chocolate strawberries and ran away from the scene.

''How could I have been so stupid,'' Yoite said to himself over and over with tears running down his face. ''Miharu deserves better, he doesn't need someone like me, barley alive.''

''Yoite!'' Someone yelled. Yoite turned around to find Miharu chasing after him. Yoite began to run again but soon collapsed in exhaustion and Miharu caught up with him. ''Yoite'' Miharu said between pants. ''Why were you running?'' He put his arms around the lanky boys shoulders. Yoite began to sob into Miharu's chest.

''T-that girl kissed you and I just d-don't think I'm good enough for you'' Yoite sobbed into the smaller boys chest. Miharu stroked Yoite's black hair.

''Is that what you were worried about'' he whispered. ''She caught me by surprise but there's already someone I really like.'' Miharu kissed Yoite's cheek and watched as Yoite turned a bright red.

''Miharu'' Yoite whimpered. ''I'm sorry, I dropped your gift.'' Miharu smiled and pulled a small bag that contained chocolate strawberries.

''You mean this'' he said. ''I didn't know you cared this much about me.'' Miharu got up and helped Yoite up.

'' Hey Miharu'' Yoite said. He kissed Miharu lips and pulled away. ''Happy Valentine's Day.''
