The Keyblade War
Two teenaged boys stand on a cliff, overlooking a ragged battlefield below. Men and women of all ages wield Keyblades of all shapes and sizes, all for one goal. Some fight for the light, some fight for the dark, and others still fight for themselves.
The Key to the Kingdom
The two teenaged boys hold their hands together and lift them to the sky, calling on an unseen power. In their combined hands the Keys of Light and Darkness form, and together they form a much stronger weapon – the weapon that the people below fight so viciously for.
A World Plunged into Darkness
The Χ-Blade calls to the unseen power, and the battlefield grows dark. Above, the unseen power becomes visible for just a moment in the form of a white heart-shaped moon. Darkness seeps from the warriors below and surround the power with dark clouds, before the world itself disappears into the fog.
The World Rebuilt by Light
In the darkness, fragments of light begin to form, illuminating pieces of the lost world. However, these new worlds are still separated by the darkness, and there is not enough light to connect the worlds. Cut off from each other, these worlds no longer know about each other, and walls form to prevent the new worlds from being swallowed by the darkness again.
How did it all come to this?
