A/N: I finished playing Dragon Age 2 a couple of days ago, and to be perfectly honest, I was a bit disappointed with the Anders romance ending. I wanted to alter one scene in particular, so this is how things played out in my head. This is the very first drabble I have ever written, so please be kind. "I will leave your… friend for you to deal with."
The First Enchanter's words echoed in her ears, as she pressed the blade deeper into his spine.
It's not just their blood on your hands, but mine, too. You have killed me with your love. And now you have to pay for what you've done.
Warm blood spilled over her fingers when she pulled out the dagger. His blood. She watched as the man she had once loved gasped for air for one last time. Then she turned away.
Tears trembled on her lashes, glistening in the early morning light.
