So, I'm not too happy right now. I started this last week, when I wasn't too happy, and then I got happy. And I'm not too happy right now, so I finished it. I think it's crap, others might not. I don't care, really, so I'm putting it up. And school sucks. So do boyfriends. And… Yeah. It's just all too much trouble than it's worth.

Disclaimer: I do not own Kingdom Hearts, nor do I claim to.

Rainbow

She's floating.

Yes, that's right. Floating. Not in a good sense, either. She's stuck there. Stuck in between black and an explosion of rainbow. Somewhere in between wonderful and not. Stuck in gray. She doesn't know why, either. She just is.

She keeps turning to it. The one thing she's found that can take her to the rainbow. The first time, it was an accident. She saw something shiny in the drawer, reached in to get it, and withdrew her hand, stained red. It hurt, but only for a second. After that, it made her feel good.

Life got to be too much for her one, and she reached for the sharp, shiny object in the drawer once more. Pulled it out, put it against her thigh. It bit, but only for a second. It made her feel so much better, so… Alive. In control. She needed that, even if it was only for that second. In that one, fleeting moment, she felt like she had control of the world.

-and she loved it.-

No one saw. And if they ever did, they would never understand. Their lives were always in colour. She felt so alone. But she was too shy to admit it to anyone.

She's turned to her silver savior multiple times after that. And "he" never failed to take her to the rainbow. The worst (at the time) was after her first boyfriend. She was laying with him, comfortable in her skin for the first time in a while. When he suddenly said he couldn't be with her any more, she freaked. He had told her she was his angel. When she voiced that thought, he told her she was an angel, she just wasn't his angel. She went home and cried. And then she touched the rainbow.

Now, she's sitting with her current boyfriend, the aqua eyed, silver haired pretty-boy. He was running his hand through her soft, blonde hair, and she was talking to him about flying. He started chuckling, then let out a laugh. He leaned in, whispered something in her ear and walked off. She left for home shortly after, tears forming in her eyes. And then she touched the rainbow for the last time.

She stood there, looking out at the water. She was an angel. She knew she was. She would prove she could fly. She took one step, and fly she did, never coming back.

Riiiight, so. That's it. It isn't as good as it could be, even I know that. But it's all I've got right now. I wish I could finish my other Naruto stories, but I've sort of gotten a type of writer's block. And I'm on a Kingdom Hearts fix, despite the fact that my brother let one of his friends borrow it and I haven't played it in about four months. …Maybe that's why. Anyways, I hope you liked it.

Please review and help me feel better about myself.
