(As I always say, please review. Love to know how my idea's work in the eyes of others. Thanks a lot! P.S. And punctuation notes, I kind of suck at that, I know I need improvement.)

Chapter 1

It was the first night of summer break, when it happened. Caleb was very excited to be out and about, Sarah on the other hand, not so much. She had some big news for Caleb though she was not really sure how to say it. What would she tell him? They had been together and in love and irresponsible since the near death experience with Chase Collins. They had just lived life, how could they do that now? She couldn't bring herself to tell him the truth, not after what happened with his father. She would have to pack and run away.

"What's going on, Sarah?"

"Huh." Caleb and interrupted her thoughts. "Nothing, but, well, Caleb, listen. I want you to know that no matter what ever happens, what ever I do is for the best, okay. I have to go. I love you." She kissed him and ran off.

"Sarah, Sarah please come back."

"There were so many thoughts in Sarah's head now, where would she go. She had to leave the city, no the state, she couldn't let them be able to track her because in no time the sons of Ipswich would find her, especially Caleb. And if he did she would explain herself and if not this would be a good thing.

Back in her dorm her roommate, Kate was sitting on her bed. She just stared at the wall. "Kate?" Sarah said. What's wrong?"

Kate just kept staring. "Did you know that our boyfriends have magical powers?" She looked at Sarah.

"Yes, I did."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Ignorance is bliss, and you're my best friend, and I have always been afraid of what might happen to me and the decision I have to make?"

"What decision, Sarah," Kate asked.

"I'm leaving Caleb."

"Why? Because of a small fear, that probably makes no sense? Sarah I'm scared too, but-"

"I know," Kate interrupted. "I know, and you just found out which makes it worse but… Did Pogue tell you everything?"

"I don't know why are you asking?"

"I need your help to get me away from here. It's about the first born sons, you know, every new generation for the Ipswich?"

"Yah, why?"

"You have to get me out of Massachusetts, tonight."

"Where?"

"Don't know but I have to leave the state and go somewhere else."

"I have an idea," Kate told her. "We'll take you too a busy city where you'll be protected. A remote area would be too obvious and according to the legends of Ipswich, they can trace you with magic. You'll be a lot harder to find if there are more people around."

"And your okay with this," Sarah asked.

"Well, I figure you must have a good reason for it, and we are best friends. Now pack, hurry before they suspect anything."

They got in the car and were driving away when Kate asked, "What's going on, Sarah?"

"You sure you want to know?"

"Yes."

"Okay, well I'm… pregnant."
