I saw Numb3rs last night, and the way Don protected Charlie against the NSA agents really stood out to me. I decided the write this off really fast, and I hope that it's not too bad! It's just a little conversation between Charlie and Don after the end of finding the Cheetah in last nights, (1/12/07) episode.

"Hey I never thanked you for getting those NSA guys off my back Don."

"Yeah, sure, no problem Charlie."

"Yeah- well thanks."

"Like I said, no problem."

"I am sorry that I had to put off your equations though."

"It worked out didn't it?"

"Yeah."

"Just next time they come and ask you to do something, tell me, please?"

"I couldn't tell you though."

"I mean tell me if your doing something 'top secret' for them, but you can't tell me what it is, instead of just telling me you have something else you have to do."

"Okay."

"Good. Pass me a beer won't ya, the games about to start. Hey there's an idea!"

"Oh no."

"Come on, it's a good idea, you use your math to figure out who should win, we could even do this for horse racing, and then we bet on who should win."

"…"

"What?"

"And if an unknown variable enters the equation, and we lose the money...?"

"True."

"Let's just shut up and watch the game."

"Fine."

End

So, what do you think? Is it horrible? Okay? Good? Please review! This may end up just being a oneshot, or a may add other one-shot chapters, I still don't know.
