Introduction
The Doctor has a secret…or at least the TARDIS does. She hid something so precious from the Doctor that it would shock him to his very being. This something is more then a stolen moment in time and space, it's a dark secret the TARDIS kept hidden. One that she promised to keep hidden, for she knew that it would only lead to pain, suffering, and betrayal.
The TARDIS has put up with the Doctor for so many regenerations that she knew this secret would tear him apart, because if the TARDIS knew one thing. The Doctor always traveled with a companion. Each companion male, female, human or non - human knew the rules or at least they thought they knew the rules. Some admired him and some even loved him. The Doctor was a symbol of hope, he was a warrior and he was a friend. He could bring down governments with only six words, he risked the ones he cared about for all the sake of humanity, but there was one companion if only for a brief moment got to see how cruel and how hurtful the doctor could be. Hurtful you ask? Well one companion saw the Doctor at one of his darker moments.
It was the one time in the TARDIS's existence that she felt it was her duty to protect this companion from the Doctor. However we all know the TARDIS very well, and she kept this secret well hidden from the Doctor, but that doesn't mean she kept track of this companion.
You ask what was this secret she hid from him? Well this companion was special, she saved the Doctor and as a reward he gave her one trip. One trip that was all, but it would be one trip that any companion would have loved to miss.
For this trip the doctor showed a side he almost never shows, only the TARDIS has seen this side and it even frightens her. Most people would assume that the Doctor was a man with no cares in the world if they had seen him, but the TARDIS knows otherwise.
For some people make stupid decisions, get happy over nothing, believe they are the universal lover, or they came be come quiet and with dark violent side slowly burning deep down, ready to lash out on an innocent party.
