A/N: Started randomly while playing violin, probably to get out of practicing. ...Didn't work. Ended up practicing more than I would have had to anyway.

Happy Halloween. BTW, this has nothing to do with Halloween.

Naruto--Day One

Today. Today was one of those days. Kakashi-sensei was late again.

We had another D-class mission. It was that lady again. That stupid lady keeps letting her cat loose. I feel bad for that cat, living with that lady. The next time we get that mission I'll feed that cat some ramen before it has to go home.

No training tomorrow. Must remember that. The last time I forgot that, I ended up waiting at the bridge for half an hour before remembering and going home.

Today I saw a ball of crumpled, crinkly foil rolling down the side of the road. It sparkled and shined and looked happy and inviting and hopeful, somehow.

I wish people were like that.

I hope I'm like that.

Sakura--Day Two

Nail polish!

Yes, that's what I did on my day off, I went shopping with H, I, T. Hinata was quiet as always, Tenten talked to her a bit (she's a tomboy at heart, though) and Ino-pig was... well, she was the Ino-pig she always is. Though I discovered we have similar taste in nail polish.

We like the same brand. But I liked Red 4058 and she liked Purple 3959.

I hope Sasuke-kun likes Red 4058. It took me a long time to match a color exactly the same red as the Uchiha fan. But it seems like it's becoming a hopeless cause.

Will he ever notice me?

Sasuke--Day Three

The days are growing colder.

I needed my jacket.

But it was gone. I could not find it.

The next day, directly after coming home from training, I searched for it.

Obsessively.

I did not find it until two days later. That stubborn jacket was hiding. It was hiding in a dusty trunk packed away with lots of other things. I pulled it out, and breathed in time powder, memory dust, old stuff--

And I suddenly remembered everything golden, everything happy... when we were all together.

And then I noticed. The uchiha fan was missing from the back. So I scrounged around the house again, and found some cloth, a thick needle, and some thread.

With shaking fingers, I managed to thread the needle. I made clumsy, big stitches in Uchiha red, but I got that fan on there. I was so proud.

I stabbed myself by accident with that needle. I got blood on the white of the Uchiha.

I didn't clean it.

Kakashi--Day Four

That clock is getting to my nerves.

Honestly. How can one enjoy Icha Icha when that persistent clock will not stop ticking? Every time I get to a particularly pleasing part (giggle), it always seems to hit the hour.

I am then rewarded for setting the clock those few years ago by a nerve-wrackingly loud honking. Have you ever been reading about something extremely wonderful and interesting and just so adult (more giggling here) and then--

HONK. HONK, HONK, HONK, HONK...

Yes, it's not pleasant.

But I like that clock. I've had it for a while. And you must admire its hard work.

Most of us would give up after a while, but that clock keeps going... and going... and going. It refuses to stop... like...

Huh. You know what? I thought of my students for some reason... hehe...?

I think I'm getting attached to them. That's bad.

But. That clock does remind me of them. They won't give up. Uzumaki won't shut up or stop working til' he beats Sasuke and becomes Hokage, Uchiha... Sasuke... will stop at nothing to avenge his aniki, and Sakura. Well... she won't stop chasing Sasuke.

It's getting a bit annoying, actually. But it is all right, I suppose.

I'm a bit late now. I should have been at the bridge at eight. It's eight forty-two.

I should probably get going.

A/N: And there you have it. Team Seven.

Review. Happy Halloween.
