Dear Father Christmas,
I want to have some magical ability even if it is just a little bit, so that I can be like my cousins and go to Hogwarts in a couple of years. That is the only thing that I want this Christmas.
Sincerely,
Argus Filch age 9

Dear Father Christmas,
I want you to make my mum happy, she's sad all of the time since this would be the first Christmas that she will be without her brothers since they were killed by the bad guys. Even my baby sister can't cheer her up, even though she's trying to make it a good Christmas for us since there isn't much of a threat of the bad guys coming to get us. I also want a toy broomstick so that I can pracice my flying skills. Can you save that little baby that was found hurt really badly by his grandparents. He's the same age as my little brother Ron and we need to have some more happy news around here, especially since his mum and dad are hurt really bad, even though little Harry Potter defeated some really bad wizard we need more happy news.
Sincerely,
Charlie Weasly age 8
PS: Don't send me any more brothers and sisters.

Dear Father Christmas,
I want you to give me parents so that I don't have to stay with my aunt, uncle and cousin since they don't like me anyway. Sometimes I think that they wish that I lived anywhere else but with them.
Sincerely,

Dear Father Christmas,
I want my Gran to like me, for who I am, not who she wants me to be. I want to have the magical ability of my dad so that my relatives can be proud of me. I also want a book on gardening that I saw in the bookstore. And lastly, I want new minds for my parents so that they can come home and live with me, so I don't have to live with my Gran anymore. Besides I think that is a present that she really wants as well, since it hurts us so much to be able to see them and have them not know who I am. I will give up any magical ability that I have if it means that they get better again.
Best Wishes,
Neville Longbottom age 7
PS: Say hello to my grandfather for me who's in heaven.
