Trembling nights, suffered in fear
are long ago now left behind
I won't ever shed a tear,
for what terrorized my mind.
Endless thinking, hollow tasks,
an empty space there next to me –
these are visions of the past
I had the chance and I broke free.
Waiting, hoping all day long
expecting every time the worst;
always feeling being wrong
now I'm reckless for the first.
Nothing to protect or loose
have long ago lost all I've been;
there's no fate I may not choose,
still too much I have not seen.
Finally, I recognized
I am the only one who counts
if earlier I just realized,
I had passed along each bound.
Actually I'm still the same
except the simple fact
that I will win the game
not just be a player in their act.
Crazy, stubborn, or just naïve
call me as you like to,
you can't understand my relief
you haven't been, what I've been through.
