Zuko was still worried about who he was going to choose to be Fire Lady... he had already broke it off with Mai a week ago and there were no other eligible ladies left.
Suki, Zuko thought, *sigh* obviously not: she's already taken; and, Sokka would die before ever giving up his girlfriend.
"Ty Lee I suppose?", the Firebender now spoke aloud making his way down the hallway," but, she's just too *shudders*... pink and girly. UGH!"
The newly made Fire Lord slammed his clenched fist into the crimson wall, making a slight dent; he lowered his head in defeat.
Until, an unimaginable name popped up in his mind... just the thought made his stomach fill with butterflies.
"But she'd never give me another chance - a-and I'd never be patient enough to sustain our relationship... not yet", Zuko pondered solemnly as he finally joined Aang, Toph, Sokka and Suki at the docks.
Not long after, Katara is seen in the far distance...
The way she comes into view is so graceful to Zuko... just like his mother.
From her eyes which hold the ocean itself, her chocolate hair cascades down her delicate back like large ripples of waves...
Her posture could be confused for royalty...
It's not even her beauty thats so intoxicating - she has more tender love and care for others in her finger than most people possess in their whole bodies...
Moments after being hypnotised in Katara's alluringness, Zuko found himself infront of the waterbender.
That smile, that she only gave to him, gave him more reason to take her for himself and embrace her. His heart started running marathons when the person in his arms returned the hug, with just as much passion.
The Fire Lord only really got embarrased when behind Katara, he saw Toph wiggle her eyebrows mischieviously but knowingly. He broke from the hug with a slight pink stained on his cheeks.
Soon, gold met blue and the look they gave each other brought them into their own intimate world...
Gingerly, he said, "I hope this isn't goodbye forever Katara", whilst brushing a stray hair out of her face.
To his relief, she replied with, "I hope so too."
Zuko wouldn't see Katara for a while... but he knew that with a little patience, that they could be together one day.
