Heyaaa. This is my first Vampire Knight fic. I absolutely love KxZ. They are the perfect couple. I mean, who can resist forbidden love right? I'm just a sucker for those things. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the fic.

I watch my silver-haired rival sleep peacefully, a small smile gracing his pink full lips. How beautiful.

Zero Kiryuu is beautiful.

He is the very definition of perfection. The way his silver hair glows under the moon, the way his porcelain skin shines...his beautifully sculpted nose, those defined cheekbones and those eyes...oh, if he would just open his eyes, I would definitely see heaven because...

Zero Kiryuu is perfect.

I want to kiss him, to touch him, to take him...But I can't. Why, you may ask. Why not mark this beautiful creature in front me right now? Maybe one would laugh at my cruel fate. I am a vampire, a pureblood at that, and he is a hunter, an ex-human hunter. How worse could it possibly get? We are both destined to fight each other, to hurt each other, to kill each other. My heart, my body, my soul...They all scream for Zero. But fate tells me that...

Zero Kiryuu is my enemy.

But is it really so wrong to love an enemy? To love this beautiful creature that might send me to my demise?

Maybe it is. Because cruel fate has seen to it that we will never be together. Cruel fate has seen to it that I can never touch his angelic face, that I can never hold his soft hands, that I can never kiss his pink full lips.

Never. Never. Never.

Unfortunately, never is not in my vocabulary. Fate is not, as well. I create my own destiny. I create my own future. So now as I watch my silver-haired angel sleep, I vow to myself and to the moon who is the witness of my undying love for Zero that someday, one day, he will be mine.

And when that day comes, cruel fate can kiss its ass.
