The Wall of Steel
Behind the wall of curved steel
Two amethysts: light in the dark
Behind the wall of shining steel
Two storm clouds: darkness without light
Collide – retreat
And whirl around
Sparks fly:
Collision once again
So on it goes, this artful dance
Both willing it to end
With spraying blood and closing eyes
That dared to pierce, and thus defy
The wall of steel.
