You broke my heart today.
Into a million pieces,
shattered across the floor
by your angry glare.
You saved me today
by the sweet smile
playing across your lips
Caught me in your snare
You cut me to pieces today
Looking at him
with a look that was only meant for me
Life is always unfair
You helped me live today
Looked over my shoulder
But you aren't where I need you
Here in my arms, if you dare
You slapped me today
Can't say I didn't deserve it
Was it on the cheek? It doesn't matter
You've lured me into you lair
You whispered "I Love You" today
I wanted to tell you then
But I couldn't, and I broke your heart
So how do I show you I care?
