Here we are, on our own. They caught us and now we're out into the world alone. I wouldn't worry about it anymore if I didn't drag you down with me. But, we've got some coin, a pillow, some clothes, and a car and that all we need. We can go where ever you want to go, just point and I'll drive. Where ever we go, we go together.

Along the way, we can pick up some small time jobs to get some extra cash. As long as it's honest and we can get some money, it's perfect. You pick the city and I'll drive us there, taking any kind of a job we can get. When we get to the city, we can take up permanent jobs and get a place of our own. It doesn't matter where, as long as I'm with you.

But we have to get to work now. We have to move fast and get started or we're both dead.

Well, we're almost there. I've found a job for a while, but I can't believe that they wouldn't take you. But it's minimum wage so we got something to look forward to. A hotel room never seemed so nice as a home. The walls are cracked and the bed is rough on my back, but if you lay on me so you don't get hurt, that's fine by me. Besides, we'll get a place of our own. A small house or apartment just for the two of us. I'll even let you decorate the place.

It's finally happened! We have our apartment! We got all the furniture we need and a job for the both of us. We can move on from our old life from living in the car, eating food from restaurants, and cleaning ourselves in public restrooms. We can have a normal life together.

So remember when we were driving? Driving in your car? Speed so fast I felt like I was drunk. City lights lay out before us. And your arm felt nice wrapped 'round my shoulder and I had a feeling that I belonged. I had a feeling I could be someone, be someone, be someone.
