Well this is a short poem I wrote awhile ago. For those you read my other story, The End of Love, you would know what is happening. This is in the point of view of Kaisu. Who had just gotten his feelings hurt. So read and review.
Shatters
You promised me so many things
You told me you would always be there
You said you would protect me
You said you loved me with your entire existence
Were all those words lies you create to deceive me?
Were there any truth to the words you whispered to me
Or did you just say them because you felt obliged to?
I look at you straight in the eyes
And you do the same to me as well
There's not a trace of the man I love in those emerald eyes of yours
And what about me?
What do you see in the eyes you once said was the color of the ocean?
Do you see the hurt, the sadness, the betrayal in these ocean colored eyes?
You turn your back on me and leave without a second glance or word
The tears behind my eyes stings as I try to hold them back
But they just keep falling as I watch you walk away
You didn't know, that as you left, you took my heart with you
And my world shatters
Sky Chrysanthemum: Yeah. So tell me how I did.
Kaisu: I can't believe you did that to me.
Sky Chrysanthemum: I'm sorry, but, well, I was in a poetic mood and that one line you said was stuck in my head. Oh, and that my friend was bugging me to write a poem in less than five minutes on the bus. So don't blame me.
Kaisu: I have the right to blame you. Can't believe you did that.
Sky Chrysanthemum: Yeah, well you can kill me after you tell them to review.
Kaisu: Fine.*faces audience* Review on how Sky did. *faces Sky*pulls out katana* Okay, I did it, now you die.
Sky Chrysanthemum: Wait! I don't own Seph, Square Enix does. Okay now you can torture me.
Kaisu: *hits forehead* Just ruined it.
Sky Chrysanthemum: Well, until next time then.
