Hey guys, this is our first fanfiction. So don't be too hard on us. It's about the darkest powers series from Kelly Armstrong. We hope you enjoy it.
Chloe POV:
"Chloe? Chloe wake up! " I sat up and saw Derek's green eyes before me. "What's wrong?"I said. Derek helped me up and told me what has been going on since I fell asleep. "So the Edison group is back?". Derek nodded fast. "Tori and Simon have packed up our stuff we have to go" Derek said. "Go where?! It's not like we can go home!". Derek spoke fast "Whatever we just have to go. NOW!.". "Okay okay I'm coming.". We heard footsteps coming towards us. Before I could say anything Derek dragged me behind the sofa. "What the hell" I whispered. Derek shushed me before I could say more. "Derek Chloe? Are you in here?!". It was Simon's voice. Derek and I stood up. "Uhm what were you guys doing behind the sofa..?"Simon asked confused. "We thought you were the Edison group" Derek said. Tori came in and said we had to go right now.
We ran for hours until we saw a house in the forest. "What now?"Tori said. "I don't smell anyone so we'll just stay here for the night" Derek replied. Simon unlocked the door and we entered the house. It was a small cozy house not much light but it was good enough. "Okay you three go to sleep and I'll keep the watch tonight" Derek said. We were all too tired to argue with him. Tori and I shared a room Simon was in the other room and Derek sat in front of the fireplace. I let the darkness embrace me as I fell asleep.
I woke up in the middle of the night. It was so dark I couldn't see a thing. Tori was still sleeping so I went to the living room. I saw Derek sitting on the floor with a few boxes. "Hey what are you doing" I asked. "Oh I just found these weird boxes full with interesti...wait a minute you're not supposed to be up." Derek said when he turned around to face me. I immediately turned red and stuttered "I uh can't sleep.". Change the subject change the subject I thought. "So what's in those boxes.". "Well they're all spells." Derek said. We went through all of the spells until we found an interesting one. "Is this…?" Derek said. We sat in silence for a few minutes. Until I spoke up "A resurrection spell.". "It can only be used once…" Derek said. "Liz…" I whispered...
