They always tell you, keep the Job and your life separate. And for a long time, I did. For the most part anyway.

Now, they've melded themselves together to the point where I'm not sure if the Job is just a job anymore. To the point where I'm not sure I have a life outside the Job. It's all cases and victims, and the good points in between, and then I go to my apartment, to sleep, to wake up, and repeat.

I call it my apartment, not my home, because it seems the squad room is more home than my sparse living quarters.
