" It doesn't scare me anymore! Do you hear?! I'm not scared! I love you!" Helena sank to her knees, sobbing, ruining her red dress. "I don't care what they will do! Let them find out!" She was saying that out of emotion, because if they ever found out, that would imprison her, on the best hypothesis. He was a known Death Eater, after all.
But Helena was tired. She was tired of feeling, better yet, not feeling. The war had been going on for years, she was already nineteen, so many people died, yet, she was numb to it all. He was the only one that could make her feel, that could get her out of her shell.
"You're just emotional because of the summer with them" he said them with utter disgust, no trying to his his distaste towards the Order, yet smiled lovingly at her. "That's your annual summertime sadness" he chuckled. It was true, for some reason, she got emotional and desperate after her stay at Grimmauld Place, it reminded her too much of her godfather. It wasn't that she still mourned him, the opposite actually. Her absent emotions hitter her all at once, and all she did was look into his grey eyes.
"Then kiss me" she walked to him. "Kiss me hard before you go" she grasped his collar. Draco never kissed her before, never a real kiss, just little pecks in the lips, she wanted a kiss, even if it's the last one.
He obeyed.
"You're the best" she whispered. "I love you" she knew he wouldn't say it back, she knew he wasn't ready, and she was okay.
"I know" he said with fake arrogance, smiling. "We'll figure it out" he assured her, turning serious.
She believed him. Because that's all she could do, sneak out in the middle of the night to meet him, and believe in his promises, even though he couldn't keep most of them.
After kissing him one more time, she turns around and leaves. While he watches her walk away, bare feet, dirty red dress, figure bathed in the moonlight.
He runs and pulls her into a hug. And she can't help but think that she can die happy that night. Because the world was crashing down before her, but he was at her side, he loved her. And that was all she needed.
I honestly don't know where did this come from but I was hearing Lana Del Rey and inspiration struck, I guess. This is, as you all can see, very AU. Because Helena isn't very willing to be a part of a war, and fight against the man she loves.
I don't know if this is good, but I needed to publish it because it would keep bothering me.
