Chapter one
Ian Malcolm had been relaxing on his leather couch in his two story apartment when he got a call from an attorney named Donald Gennaro. Gennaro had spoken about how some billionaire entrepreneur funded a ton of money into a new theme park on an island in Costa Rica called Isla Nublar and Gennaro now needed an insurance consultant; someone who would be able to notice any dangerous flaws with the park to tag along with him. And who better to bring along than the mathematician who studies solely in chaos – Ian Malcolm himself! After what seemed like an excruciatingly long phone call, Gennaro had gone over when, where and how Ian, Hammond – the billionaire, his granddaughter, a Paleontologist, a Paleobotanist, and himself would be getting to this island and what would be in store for them all.
It had been 4 days since Ian had spoken to Gennaro over the phone and he was now standing by the helicopter that Hammond owned, waiting for, well whatever what was to happen next.
"I still can't believe that our dig is going to be fully funded! And all we have to do is go to some park, make a few comments, give some reviews here and there and endorse it!" Ellie Sattler; the Paleobotanist said to her fiancé and dig partner Alan Grant, who was the Paleontologist invited on this trip.
"Yes, it all sounds good when you put it that way Ellie but I'm sure there's more to this trip than just that, I mean why else would Hammond have invited so many people for right?"
"There you all are! Welcome, welcome, welcome! My name is John Hammond pleased to meet you all and thank you in advance for joining me on this trip! This is my granddaughter Allison Hammond; she will be joining us on our trip as well."
Ian wasn't one to ogle at woman much, especially ones he knew he shouldn't be ogling at but as he was standing there, partially listening to Hammond rant about how excited he was that they were all here to witness the beauty that is his park, Ian couldn't help himself but to look at the gorgeous girl standing beside Hammond. She had dark curly hair with red highlights, fairly tanned skin, fully plump lips, was roughly his age, average height (5'5) and average build; but the thing that made him always look back at her was her hazel eyes – which were showing more green each time he looked at them.
"Please do all start boarding the helicopter, we have quite the journey ahead of us and we needn't waste any more time here!" said Hammond
Ian couldn't agree anymore, and he definitely couldn't wait to meet Allison and see what this trip had in store!
