PROLOGUE:
Demons, witches, vampires, elves, all seemingly to be the work of fiction. Yet the few who know the truth know otherwise that these fairy tales are more than mere works of fiction. Prior to the 1700s, all kind of mythical creature were more open with their existence to the general human population. Some species were more populous than others, yet all of this turned by the dawn of human expansion which exploded onto the scene, threatening all mythical creatures livelihood.
None more suffered from the human expansion than the mythical canines, lycanthropes, wolf demons and dog demons. While the lycanthropes and wolf demons managed to retreat to elusive whereabouts, the more powerful dog demons were not as fortunate. Even with their shape-shifting ability most were killed, the surviving members fleeing westward from their sunrise land their numbers dwindling even further due to superior human numbers.
By 1830, there was one last known clan of dog demons, the Odofo clan which had established a new life in the America's. However, even this clan was soon to be wiped out. In 1835, a young frail Dog Demon was the last to be born into the Odofo clan, his name: SeTaisho Odofo.
