Tifa watched silently as Cloud walked out of the door and disappeared into the
crowded streets of Midgar. She stood in place for a while thinking about the attack on the
solar plant. Ever sense the plant was established it had been giving power to the citizens
of the city free of charge. And with out having to dip into the life stream for mako energy
the planet would be healthier and cleaner. Who would want to do such a thing?
"Maybe Cloud will get to use that sword again." She thought out loud as she
made her way to the kitchen. "And I may just get to where those gloves again." A small
smile found itself on her lips with that thought.
When Tifa had worked at her bar, the kitchen was her domain. But sense she had
been married Cloud had slowly taken over all the cooking and cleaning. She had always
guessed that he just needed to keep himself busy. Cloud was always one who needed to
keep active, being a worrier he did it by fighting. And that worried her most of all. With
nothing left to fight what would he do. She took a moment to laugh at her self. Cloud was
stronger then she was giving him credit for, he would do just fine.
She found the meal that Cloud had referred to sitting out and completely
prepared. She leaned over the table and stuck her finger into the dish. Pulling the finger
out she brought it up to her lips for a taste. it was still hot, not to mention quite good. It
always amazed her how good her husbands cooking was. It was probably even better than
her's. Although he nor she would never admit it. She pulled a chair out from under the
table and sat down to eat.
After a while Tifa was done with her meal. She got up from the table and placed
her dishes I the sink. She decided that she didn't want to bother with them at the moment
and made her way back into her bed room.
She walked to her dresser and started to pull out random articles of clothing from
each drawer. When she was completely dressed in a blue sweat shirt and black denim
pants, she walked out of the room and to the front door.
Tifa stood in front of the door making up her mind on weather or not to go for a
good walk. The idea of the walk won the battle. She moved her hand up to the door knob
and had barley touched it when. Knock knock knock. Three quite powerful knocks had
rang out into the room filling in the silence. She drew her hand back with a startled
quickness.
"I'm being silly." she implied as she chuckled to herself. She moved her hand
back to the door and twisted the knob. "Who is it?" she called at the same time. When
she opened the door there was a man standing with his back to her. he was dressed in a
black trenchcoat, with black leather boots. His long red hair was pulled back into a
ponytail. "May I help you?" she implied. With that he turned around to face her.
Tifa found an all to familiar face starring her straight in the eye. "Did you miss
me." the man implied. His voice was deep, deeper than she remembered. Tifa backed
into the house. she could feel both anger and fright starting to take over her facial
features.
"You....how." she stuttered to get the words out. And that was when she noticed
something els about him. His eyes glowed with mako. When had he done that. "Get out."
She straightened herself and raised her fists, if she was going to have to fight she would.
"Now now, you don't want to raise your fists to your old friend Rufus do you?" he
asked mockingly.
"Hey, what the hell do you think your doing." Another voice boomed in from
outside the house. Rufus turned in place and gazed out the open door. Cloud was running
straight toward him with a knife in hand.
Rufus once again turned to Tifa and bowed slightly. "Id love to stay and chat," he
grinned, "But it seems that your husband dosent approve." with that he dashed out of the
door way with a speed that Tifa had never seen. In fact she almost didn't see him.
