Sirius Black had seen a lot of lingerie in his life, but he had never had to actually buy any before. Lily had asked him to help pick out a little "special something" for her anniversary with James.
"I want to surprise him, but I'm bloody useless, y'know, the whole 'seductress' thing," she had said. And how could he say no to her?
He felt suddenly protective as she awkwardly picked up another piece to ask his opinion. He wanted to find her the most conservative piece of lingerie in the store. He wanted to tell her that she was sexy and beautiful and if he were James he wouldn't care if she wore boxers and an old t-shirt to bed.
"Earth to Sirius!" she waved a hand in front of his face. "What do you think of this one?"
"I think James won't be able to keep his hands off of you," he answered with a forced smile.
