"Please, just say you love me," he said, his eyes were pleading.
Life is full of moments like this. We are supposed to choose between the white lie that will save someone's feelings, or the truth that will crush their soul.
I had known Sirius for eight years now, but I wasn't in love with him. I couldn't help it, but somehow my heart had fallen for another.
"I'm sorry, Sirius, but I can't lie to you," I replied before I turned and walked away, tears forming in my eyes.
Letting go would be the hardest thing I'd ever do.
