The girl sat down on the bench, crying softly. "I lost everything I had, and now it's gone. Forever." She sat up, wiping tears from her face. Little did she know, she was being watched from a distance.
"I'm worried about her, Mia. She's been crying for a while now. I wonder what's up." Emily said to Mia. The two girl's were watching the crying child as she continued to cry."Don't go yet, Em. Let's see what happens." Mia said, her eyes focused on the girl.
"What's happened?" Jayden asked the two. He had been at the dojo training with Kevin and Mike. "Nothing yet." Mia said. "There has to be something wrong with her."
"I'll go." Jayden said, and he walked away from Mia and Emily. The girl didn't pay attention to him as she saw him coming.
"Hi there. You okay?" Jayden asked the girl. She looked up at him. "I'm fine." she replied.
Jayden sat down next to her."I saw you crying earlier, me and my friends did. Is there anything wrong?" He asked. The girl sighed, but she nodded slowly. She started to wipe tears off her face with her sleeve.
"Well, it's a pretty long story. You might not want to hear it, it's really sad..."
The girl told Jayden her name was Rocky and that her family was killed in a fire when she was about 3 years old. She was brought to an orphanage, but she was able to escape from the place because the people that owned the place treated the kids badly and very few were able to escape from the building. She escaped and tried to find somebody that could help her, but nobody cared, didn't even bother to help an innocent little girl like her.
Rocky finished telling her story to Jayden. "That's what happened to me."
Jayden looked at the girl."I-I'm so sorry." He didn't know it at first, but Rocky grabbed her chest and started to breath rapidly. Jayden held her. What could he do? Before he had time to think, Mia, Emily, Kevin, and Mike rushed over to them.
"Will she be okay, Jayden?" Emily asked frantically. She looked at Rocky worriedly. The girl started to cough up blood. Jayden's eyes widened as blood dripped onto Rocky's hands and onto the ground. "We got to get her home, now." Jayden said, picking up Rocky gently.
It seemed liked hours for the five teenagers to bring Rocky to their place. They all rushed inside.
What where they going to do now?
The next morning, Emily went into Rocky"s room to check on her. Rocky was still in her bed, wide awake. "Hey there, Rocky. Are you feeling alright?" Emily asked Rocky.
"I'm still a bit sore. Where am I anyway?" she asked Emily.
"Your'e someplace safe now, Rocky. Do you remember what happened, anything?" Emily asked Rocky as Jayden walked into the room. Rocky nodded.
"That happens a lot to me. I don't tell tell anybody, but I..." Rocky paused. "I have powers." Emily and Jayden glanced at each other.
"It's true." Rocky confessed. she pointed at a sword hanging on the wall and it followed her hand."I have the power to turn invisible and other things."
Both Jayden and Emily were stunned. Then Jayden had an idea. He and Emily went out in the hall to find the others. Mia was making breakfast and Kevin and Mike were at the table, eating. "I have to talk to you all, right away." Jayden said as all of them went outside to talk.
"Me and Emily just now found out that Rocky has powers." He said. Mike started to laugh."How can she have powers? She's just a teenager, like us. How could she possibly..." he said. Kevin put his hand on Mike's mouth."Shut up, Mike." he said.
Rocky was watching from a distance. "So you think I'm not good enough, Mike. I'll show you." she said, using her powers to get a training stick from the wall. "How about that, Mike?" Rocky asked. Mike didn't say anything.
"Rocky, how would you like to be a part of our team?" Jayden asked.
"Jayden, I'll be glad to." She said.
"Good then, let's start training."
