The rainy day

Lily was angry, but very sad too.

She had just argued with her best friend. They had spent most of their childhood together, and they had been close friends since that day of six years before.

But now something had changed forever, and they could not be the same anymore. She felt so miserable…

Lily was crying, leaning against a tree in the courtyard of the school. In her state of unconsciousness, she did not hear the footsteps behind her.

Someone stopped, and called her name.

Lily turned, and as soon as she saw who it was, she tried to escape. She did not want to be seen crying by anyone, especially by HIM.

But he did not want to let her go, and grabbed her arm.

"Wait! What happened? Lily, what happened to you? He made you cry? Is this his fault?" He asked.

"James, please, leave me alone! Go away, or you'll skip your next class! I know you don't like him, but please don't do anything to him, and don't say anything now…"

But he did not. He did not say anything.

He just hugged her.

He hugged her tightly, and she was too weary to oppose.

It had started raining, but two figures were still embraced near that three in the courtyard of the school.
