Seriously I can't sleep. What am I doing waking up this early? But seeing him won't be bad I guess. Suddenly the door open and someone greeted me as he entered.
"Good morning Karina." Mica greeted.
I smile unconsciously. "g-good morning." I reply nervously. "So what are you going to buy?"
"18 bags of tomato seed."
"That's a lot. Having a festival?" (That's going to be a hassle.)
"Nah, just in case something came up, and a few are for Majorika."
"Ehh? I thought Marion hated tomatoes."
"Yeah, so did I and-" he stopped as he saw the clock. "I need to go, later Karina." He grabs the bags and rushed to the door after paying.
"Yeah, later..." (Oh.. he's gone.)
With no one in the shop, it feels a bit lonely. But taking a nap right now isn't a bad idea. The door suddenly opens again. (I nearly doze off.) "Ah Sofia good morning" as I saw her came in.
"Good night Karina." She replied.
(The same old Sofia.) "Say, why are you late?"
"It wasn't raining outside a moment ago, didn't you notice?"
"Really?" (Then Mica..) I ponder.
"Karina?"
"Oh sorry. Hey Sofia what do you think about Mica?" (This is interesting.)
"Umm.. He's a bad guy I think.."
"I mean do you like him?" (That's a bit straightforward.)
"Umm.. Y-yes!"
"…" (Seriously Sofia, now even I don't understand you.)
"Karina! Sent this ordered goods!" As my mother descended down the stairs. Giving me a list full of names together with a heave basket.
"Later Sofia." I walk quickly to the front door leaving Sofia and mother.
"Head back home after you're finish. No detours!-"
I pretended not hearing that.
Going every place to deliver the ordered goods was a pain but getting nag by mother was another thing. Ah.. After finishing all that errands, the soothing winds does feels good. Guess I take a quick nap at the beach. The atmosphere is so relaxing I fell asleep just in seconds. While asleep a sudden gust blew onto my face. "Phew.." (How long was I asleep?) Staring blankly up the red sky, I finally knew how long it was. Mica's shipment! Running wasn't my favorite kind of thing, but now it wasn't the time for excuses. Under the great Sharance Tree, gasping for air I saw a figure that I knew standing among the vegetable garden. As the leaves sways by the wind, the light of the setting sun passes through the crack and bathed Mica. Silently I make my way to the shipping box without disturbing this silent tranquility. With everything in my basket, Mica surprises me with his voice.
"Hi Karina, sorry didn't notice you there."
"Haha.. Don't worry about it." (You were so into it.)
"Hey Karina are you ok?"
"I'm fine." (I'm sleepy though.)
"I mean it seems so heavy, so if you want I can help you carry that and-"
"N-nah it's ok, well bye." (What are you saying idiot.)
"Karina-"
Blushing I left without hearing him. After being lectured by mother, peace and quiet was my best friend after all. Alone in my room I stared the night sky through the window. The stars were beautiful even though I watched them every night. Feeling like talking to the stars then words came out naturally. "I've been thinking about the city.. Why do I wanted to leave and went there I wonder?" "But if I did left, will anyone miss me?" (And if it was Mica what w-) "What am I talking about, Haha.." (Well, good night stars.) I close the window and headed to bed. But what will happen if somebody stopped me from going there? What will I do if that person stops me? I guess I leave it at that.
