"Trust me, they're all good 'em chickens " The farmer spoke brightly of his prized chickens.
His straw hat and faded denim overalls and the gumboots seemed to be convincing enough.

Hal Emmerich looked down at the little girl who was running around trying to catch one (or any) of the chickens that was running around the farm.
Never in his life has he been surrounded by so much poultry and yet he didn't really want to be there either.
After all, It was Sunny's idea to bring Chickens onto the Nomad – and yet it was his responsibility to clean the cages. David just laughed at his face saying that he caved in, yet, another one of Sunny's 'acting adorably to get something' pleas.

How could he not? She was adorable...as any other seven year old is...maybe.

"U-uncle Hal!"
His gaze wandered over to the girl who was already covered in mud and straw who was standing at the corner of the fence, waving energetically.
"I-I think I like...t-these three!" She called brightly.

Hal turned to the farmer,
"I guess we'll take those three chickens then." He started to reach towards his back pocket to pay for the chickens but the Farmer waved him off; "No, have them. Those three chickens have been together ever since they've been hatched. Take them, I know they'll be in good hands" The farmer smiled and before Hal could even thank him, the Farmer was off trying to catch the three chickens to put into their individual crates.

The three of them stared at the chickens.
The sound of soft clucking and shuffling within their cages was one of the more normal sounds that was on board the Nomad – if you exclude the notification dings on the computers, the codec calls and the buzzing and humming of the MKII.

"W..well...we've g-got to give them a n-name" Sunny spoke, breaking the silence at last.
She was clutching three wooden name boards and a vivid to write down each name.
"Name the white one, Mac" Hal scratched his head.
"No. We're not naming it after a computer, Otacon" Snake looked at him.

"Fine, what about...um...David?"
"Definitely Not."
"Then you think of something?"
"Dinner" David's stomach grumbled.
Sunny and Hal looked at David and shook their heads
"No."

It seemed like an eternity that the three of them sat there, watching three chickens trying to escape from their cages. Sunny twirled the vivid in her fingertips and starting writing the three names down on the board.

"There" She exclaimed and she placed each of the name boards above each chicken.
Hal blinked and Snake raised an eyebrow.
"Solid?" David spoke as the chicken within the cage started to cover itself with straw,
"Liquid..." Hal cocked his head and looked at the chicken who was too busy trying to destroying the cage.
"Solidius" Both men spoke simultaneously and looked at the chicken who just sat there staring at them.

"A-aren't they perfect?" Sunny spoke brightly, before ascending up the stairs to cook the first batch of celebratory eggs.

"This is all your fault" David sighed as he picked up one of the cages to place away at the back of the Nomad while Otacon picked up another; "At least you get a chicken named after you" Otacon laughed as he placed the cage down.

"I think it's safe to say, that out of us two, you would be the chicken. I'm the fox"
