The Fine Art Of Stealing A Tart
-~-~-~-
The stealing of a tart
Is quite the fine art
As it ought to be.
-~-~-~-
When the tart you see
Rush forth,
On her
practise your knavery!
-~-~-~-
With one leg between hers
Whisper silkily in her ear
That of her worth praise
And leave only suggestion
Of what will happen between you later.
-~-~-~-
When the day inks itself and becomes night,
Watch your tart lest she take flight,
Gain common sense and see your villainy
In a negative, unyielding sort of light.
-~-~-~-
Go forth Knave, and catch her
Leave no room for interpretation,
No, leave no room between you at all.
-~-~-~-
As the sighs in darkened garden fall,
Satisfy your tart
As she surely satisfies you
Let her think how lewd
This all is
How rude
You must be
But how delighted
She will be
When all your sports are through.
-~-~-~-
That's how you steal a tart,
Good sir Knave,
Now don't get caught,
For stealing the Queen's tart,
is a mighty foolish and dangerous art.
