Lighting strikes as the heaves open up and let ice teardrops descend harshly to the desolate ground.
She was running. She didn't know what from or why. The only thing evident was the need to get away, to escape. Blindly she stumbled through the forest. Her breathing was short, her heartbeat erratic. Dark clouds blocked the silver light of the moon; she cringed as breaches swiped at her in her.
The girl tripped and tumbled down to the unforgiving earth. She stopped abruptly just short of a cliffs edge. Peering over only to see a strait drop into raging waters below.
She left more the heard the menacing laughter from a dark sadistic presence. A young child looking no older then six awoke with a start. Silent tears ran down her chubby little cheeks. Wide red eyes searched the dark room fearfully.
"Little one" A voice called out into the darkness. The voice unlike the pervious one was kind; genital made her feel safe and protected, loved.
"No" the child whispered. I want my mommy she thought in despair. But she's not here this only cased the child to cry harder.
"Little one" the voice was closer now, almost as if it came from behind her. Quickly turning around, she spotted a figure glowing in the moonlight mamma she thought. She became entranced by the figure bathed in moonlight.
"Are you ok?" it asked. She shock her head 'no'. The figure steeped out of the moonlight and kneeled down so she was eye levee with the little girl. The girl's eyes widen in shock.
"Usagi" she whimpered. Now that the child could see the figure up close, she was surprised. The clumsy, whinny, piggish, immature, selfish blond was kneeling next to her with concern ever present in her eyes.
"Are you all right, little one?" Usagi asked gently. Again the girls shock her head.
" ChibiUsa what's wrong?" ChibiUsa shuddered and cried all the heard as she remembered why she was here in the first place. Flashed of her Loving Mother, her protective Father, and the curl man whom 'caused all of this. Suddenly...she didn't feel so hopeless. Looking up she found Usagi's bright blue eyes looking down at her.
"shhhhh little one every thing will be all right". It was too much; she was too much like her mother. How…. how can she remind me of mamma. ChibiUsa sighed and leaned into the older girl. it just feels....right.... ChibiUsa calmed considerably as Usagi stroked her cotton candy pink hair, all the while wondering what had upset her so. Sure she's can be a pain.....but I don't want to see her hurt or anything. Usagi's thoughts where cut short when the younger girls leaned into her. Smiling softly as she sees that ChibiUsa had fallen a sleep.
Unfortunately there was no way for the older girl to leave and not wake up the younger one. With a sigh the blond slowly drifted of into sleep, wondering if this changed anything between them.

"YOU LITTLE BRATH GIVE THAT BACK" was heard through out the streets. As a blond about 14 chased a six year-old red-eyed girl whom was waving a book with the Letters D- A-I-R-Y on the front. Just your typical morning in the Tsukino house, it' seamed as if those two would never get along.
