Hi every body! Yeah, I know what you're thinking,'What nutball gave her
access to the computer again?' Hey! Leave me alone! I'm STILL new at
this! Ok. So the song is called 'Never Mine To Lose' by Joe Diffie. I
promise in this story, Serena won't die, k? I don't own the song or
Sailor Moon. ::sigh::sigh:: Maybe next life time, huh?

A fleeting moment was all

Darien walked towards the Crown Arcade. He was going for two reasons.
One: to talk to Andrew. Two: to find and talk to Serena. Even if it was
just tradeing insults. Just to hear her voice made his spirts rise.
He walked in to the arcade, and there she was. Still trying to beat
the latest Sailor V game and always loseing. And, of course, Andrew was
TRYING to help her, but to no avail.
He walked up behind them. " Geez, meatball head! Why don't you try
and beat the game your self?"
Serena turned her head towards him and said, " Mind your own business
Darien! Besides, Andrew offered to help, so there!" She finished by
sticking her tounge out at him.
Darien chuckled. " No thanks. I use toilet paper."
Serena stood, " why I oughtta.." She swung her hand at Darien. She
missed and of course tripped over her seat. Darien caught her, and both
blushed a deep crimson red.

Darien returned to his apartment after saying goodbye to Andrew and
insulting Serena a few more times. He wsan't sure why he treated her so
mean. Deep in his heart, he loved her. Heart and soul. But, being alone
most of his life didn't help matters none. But, maybe that was the
answer. Since he had grown up with out love most of his life, he was
afraid of it. But, deep down, he knew he could change. If she only
asked him to..

Darien walked into the arcade a few days later. He was a mess. And
his mood wasn't all that great either. He had gone all day with out
seeing his presious meatball head. And it was killing him. He had hoped
to see her in here, but the only person he saw was Andrew. He walked
over to say 'hi'. About twenty minutes later, Serena walked in. And
thats when Darien's heart broke. She had come in with some guy. She
actually.... looked ...happy. Darien couldn't bear it. Without even
saying goodbye to Andrew, Darien got up and walked out of the arcade.
He knew if he hadn't, Serena would have saw his tears. Right then and
there, Darien knew...he had lost Serena for good....
