Their little game of catch came to a literally crashing halt as the ball flew from Castle's hand to the light above the dining room table.

Alexis looked at her dad shocked, "Dad?"

He gave a look of confused innocence, "What!? You were supposed to catch it!"

Her mouth dropped, "I might have been able to if you had thrown it in my general …bubble." She moved her glove in the circle around her, "instead of at the light."

He smiled at her and winked, "Oh alright, I'll take the blame."

She smiled at her dad, "Now son, you just need a little bit more practice…but let's not tell you mother about this okay?"

Castle busted up laughing at the chip off the old block that was his daughter.
