At the Kamiya dojo, everyone(but Sano and…Kaoru)are doing chores. Kaoru sadly watches Kenshin cook. 'Why can't I cook as well him?' She snaps out her thoughts at the sound of a knock at the gate. Sano lazily gets up and answers the door. "Hello?" a beautiful woman with red hair smiles at him. "Hello, is Kenshin here?" Kenshin looks up from his cooking and smiles. "Hello mother." she looks around Sano and grins. "Hello Kenshin." she walks up to him, they hug tightly. "Mother?" Kaoru and Yahiko question at the same time. Kenshin nods. "My name is Yukina Himura.", "I'm Sanosuke Sagara.", "I'm Yahiko Myoujin."
One long introducing later, the group sit around the table in the dining room. "Um, you wouldn't mind if I could dinner do you?" everyone stares at Yukina. "S-Sure." she smiles. "Thank you, Kenshin…do you want to help?" he smiles "Okay." he goes into the kitchen. "I'll help to." Kaoru follows behind. "Don't burn the kitchen down, Kaoru!" Sano yells. Kaoru clenches her fists and ignores him. "Mrs. Himura, could you…teach me how to cook?", "Sure Kaoru."
One long teaching and setting of the table later, "Wow, these dumplings look so good." Yahiko and Sano grab some chopsticks and dig in. "Mmmmm, so good.", "I'm so glad you like it." the others follow after Sano and Yahiko and dig in.
That afternoon, "See ya, Yukina. Come back soon!" the group wave goodbye to Yukina as she takes her leave.
