This was a really random dream that I wrote down...
"Jess, he's getting away!" I sighed, watching him skate away down the hill.
"Well, I have roller skates but I can't use them"
"I can!" I glanced worriedly at him again. Luckily he couldn't skate for toffee. I grabbed the skates off Jess and pulled them roughly onto my feet. I then just tucked the laces in and hoped I didn't trip over them.
"Wish me luck!" I didn't give her time to answer and I flew down the steep part of the hill which was way more dangerous but this way I could have a chance at catching him up. The smooth tarmac rushed past my feet and the feeling of the wind in my hair made me smile. I didn't know how I was going to stop though. Sherlock looked around with a smirk on his face, probably expecting to see us standing helplessly at the top of the hill. Instead he saw me about ten metres away, racing towards him at top speed. He quickly veered towards the grass and I silently thanked him. I wasn't smiling now though. The ground had flattened out a little bit so I wasn't going quite as fast when I hit him. But when I did he was facing me and he was just watching. I slammed into him face first and just had time to put my hands behind his head so he didn't crack it on the concrete. I put my face on his chest and groaned.
"That hurt"
"Well it was your fault," he replied snarkily.
"Technically this wouldn't have happened if you hadn't run away, so it's your fault" I pointed out as I rolled off him. "Are you hurt?"
"I don't think that's any of your business."
"I think it is seen as I'm the one who would have hurt you."
"No then," he huffed as he started to stand up. I jumped up and the realised that I was wearing roller-skates and fell back down again. I then stood up more carefully and looked up at Sherlock. He had a look of absolute horror on his face. I turned to see where he was looking and there was the headmaster coming over to us.
"Does he want me or you?" I asked
"Probably me after what I did yesterday." Sherlock was a well known person for practical jokes.
"Well we are wearing roller-skates which definitely gives us the upper hand."
"I can't skate, as you have probably seen!"
"Yes I know. Just do what I say." I grabbed his hands and put them on my waist so that he was standing behind me. He was almost a foot taller than me so he could see over my head easily. I held onto his hands, hoping this would work. "Either keep your feet still or copy exactly what I do with mine." He nodded with wide eyes. I started skating towards our teacher with Sherlock giving us extra power. I headed straight for him until at the last second I swerved away with him still shouting threats at us. I laughed out loud and Sherlock gave a low chuckle which made me shiver.
"Are you cold?" He asked, surprised as it was a warm sunny day.
"No" I replied curtly. " you can let go of me now."
"Oh ok." He sounded disappointed?
I turned around and looked behind him. Oh dear.
"Ok grab onto my waist again we have to go, Sherlock."
He glanced behind us as well and sighed. The head master had got the security team out.
"Right let's go" I started skating pulling Sherlock along with me.
He turned his head back forwards and started pushing his feet in time with mine.
"You get incredibly loyal, incredibly quickly," he whispered into my ear.
"Yes, I know. It isn't very good, is it."
"I think it's and incredible quality to have in a friend."
A/N: That was really random, I know, but please tell me if you did or didn't enjoy it...
Thank you
