We Miss Emily - Carter, Razor and Damon
Damon and Razor were huddled together in Lauren's garage apartment, under a blanket, on Carter's bed crying.
Razor had answered the phone at The Pizza Shack to hear a sobbing Emily tell him she was leaving Boulder. Even though they weren't dating Razor did care about her enough to cry or at least worry about Emily's well being.
"She said she was gonna run away to Vegas to live with her grandma or aunt or something." Razor said sobbing. "Emily sounded so sad. It broke my heart."
"And the worse part about all of this is that she's having my baby." Damon cried along with him. "We played one time and I got her pregnant. Man! I hate myself!"
"Damon honey it's okay. You didn't know and it was bound to happen sooner or later what with you guys constantly flirting." Razor chuckled softly and Damon hit him.
"Shut up Razor." he said" We're both hurt regardless of what went down and now she's gone."He broke out into a fresh batch of tears saying" Oh God I loved her! I miss Emily so much!"
Razor sat up, holding Damon close to him as he cried. Loudly.
Carter came up the stairs to Lauren's apartment and whistled to himself. He had a pretty good day, working hard at the Rock training with the other gymnasts. His arms budged with hard muscles and sweat poured down his face. Carter wiped his forehead with a t shirt and opened the door; shocked as he saw what lay in front of him.
He didn't expect to find both of his Pizza Shack coworkers hugging each other and sobbing uncontrollably as he walked inside Lauren's meditation space.
"Guys?" Carter asked both boys with wide eyes."Are you okay?"
He should have stayed silent.
"CARTER!" both boys leaped on top of the bigger boy and as he joined the conversation, Carter held on to Damon and his best friend crying into both of his big shoulders.
"What's wrong?" Carter finally broke through the crying only to get three words before they started again.
"WE MISS EMILY!" at the sound of her name both of them cried again and Carter had a little time to register how the two rockers must be feeling.
Carter was the only one of The Pizza Shack's nightshift employees that wasn't involved in some way with the gymnast, though they did talk on occasion. But it still wasn't his choice to tell them that they shouldn't cry like this over her. He knew Razor and Damon were best buds and the Damon and Emily were dating. Poor Damon he thought as Carter took in the two boys holding each other close each of their shoulders shaking as they sobbed. It made Carter sad.
Damon was effected the worst of all being on a romantic level with Emily. So he decided to offer some help.
"It'll be okay Damon." he said softly "Emily loves you. Everybody can see that. " he stepped up to give Damon a hug, wanting to say more, but Carter didn't know how.
"She really does love you." he repeated and it was enough for Damon.
