Dean Winchester sat helpless in the park, his orange skateboard lay beside him and his knee stung as blood stained his denim shorts and ran down his leg onto the green grass below. Salty tears welled up in his eyes and flowed large and determined down his red cheeks. He leant back against the sandbox behind him and wailed for his Dad, but he was at the other side of the park. Dean was going to be lost here forever, and even if they did find him, he would have to have his leg amputated like in that movie he'd watched without his mom knowing. He cried harder.

"Are you okay?"

Dean looked up to see a boy around the same age as him. He had blue eyes, tan skin and black hair.

"Have you seen my Daddy?" Dean replied, wiping his eyes and nose with the back of his hand.

The boy looked confused and shook his head, "No. I can get my daddy."

"I don't want your Daddy, I want mine, " Dean huffed, "He has magic kisses."

The boys crystal cyan eyes widened to an impossibly large size, and his voice dropped to a whisper as though he was revealing where he stashed his secret candy, "Really?

Dean smiled proudly and nodded.

The boy was astonished and glanced down to Dean's knee, "Does it hurt?"

Dean paused, debating before he replied, he didn't want the boy to think he was a sissy, "Not much."

"My Mommy always says to wear knee pads and arm pads when I'm riding my bike," The boy announced, "And a helmet."

Dean shrugged, "I'm not scared of getting hurt. Besides they slow me down"

"You go fast?"

Dean wanted to impress him, "One time I was going faster than my Daddy's car."

"Wow," The boy sat down beside Dean, "That's so fast!"

Dean shrugged like it wasn't a big deal.

"What's your name?"

"Dean. What's yours?"

The boy held out his hand, "I'm Castiel."

Dean screwed up his nose and shook the boy's hand, "What kind of name is that?"

Castiel looked confused, "My name?"

Dean laughed "Cas... Castlee...Can I call you Cas?"

Castiel nodded, "Okay!"

"Friends?"

"Friends," Cas nodded enthusiastically.
