Without You Pikachu Part 0 AAMRN

Summary-Sad story taking place shortly after Ash's death.

Monday March 7, 2005

I guess I am just into a mood to make dark, gloomy stories which is odd because I'm quite cheerful right now. Go figure.

The summer rain had started at the funeral services and continued even after the burial. A fresh plot of earth had just been covered and a headstone lay at the head of the grave. Misty stood solemnly at the side. Brock came up beside her. They stood quietly in black at the dreary scene.

"Why did it have to be Ash?" Misty asked with a tear stricken face. "We were going to get married in a couple months." Brock gently put his arm around Misty.

"I know this is hard. But we need to hold onto each other to get through this." Brock told her. Misty looked at Brock and broke down. Brock pulled her close and hugged her. It took awhile for her to recover but finally she did.

"Died by falling off a cliff. Didn't see it coming. Right into the ocean. I told him to be careful up there!" Misty shouted. Her voice echoed throughout the graveyard. A low rumble of thunder sounded in the distance.

"Misty, let's go." Brock said softly. "We can come back tomorrow if you wish." Misty looked up and hugged him. She pulled away and wiped her eyes.

"Thank you Brock. I don't know what I'd do if you weren't here to help me through this." She replied. Brock smiled at her.

"That's what friends do. They help each other." Brock replied. Misty and Brock slowly walked out of the cemetery and to Brock's car. They got in and Brock began to drive away. Everyone else had left long before so they were the last ones.

"Hey Misty. Look over there." Brock said, pointing to the left, or West. She did. The setting sun glimmered through the clouds that still covered some of the sky, creating a bright pink, orange, and purple hue on the clouds. Almost directly on top of the sun was what Misty swore was a heart-shaped cloud. When she blinked, she could have sworn that the cloud formed a figure of Ash. Misty smiled at the memories of Ash and thought about them all the way back to her house.

The End

Well, hope it was good. If not, flame me on how to make these kinds of stories better. Well, review!
