STATION: Weyland-Yutani

Astraeus Station 284255

FUNCTION: Fuel Depot/Way Station

WGT CLS: 1,2000,000 TONNES

STANDING CREW: 8?

GALACTIC POS: 54.6 Million Kilometers from Earth

"Lydecker, this is Kim, do you copy? Over."

Silence.

Kim could feel beads of sweat tricking down the side of her face. She was scared – no, terrified would probably be a better word to describe the situation she was currently in. Her breathing came in sharp bursts as she slowly peaked around the dark corridor with her flashlight. Empty, thankfully. There was no sign of the creature, though no sign of anyone else for that matter. The only thing in the world that mattered right now was finding Ron, Bonnie, and the rest of the group. With her back firmly against the far wall, Kim began to slowly inch her way down the empty corridor, expecting danger to jump out from the shadows at any minute. The pipes, steel, and overall industrial look of the fuel depot they were currently stranded on did not help to put her mind at ease as she did her best to creep down the corridor as silently as possible. If only she had something to protect herself with. She felt so vulnerable at the moment. While she did not have a weapon of any kind, at least she knew Ron had the motion tracker. He would at least know of approaching danger. Bonnie had been with Lydecker when they had been ambushed. As for the others, their fates were unknown. Kim had not spared them much of a thought when she tore off down the corridor. Ron and Bonnie had been behind her, and then they just weren't.

At the end of the corridor was an sealed pressure hatch door. Kim looked over her shoulder, bit her lip, then increased her rate of speed, only stopping when she was pressed up against the door. Her trembling hand hovered over the button that would open the door and lead her into the Lorenz Habitation Tower. With any luck, the rest of the group would be there. Kim hesitated for a few seconds, then jabbed at the button. With a soft beeping the doors swung open, and into the wall. She peeked around. While the power had been off for some time, there were a few lights running on backup generators, that cast dim light into the large room. At the far end of the tower were large bay windows. Kim could see a portion of Mars out past the windows.

She slowly moved into the room, making sure to close the pressure hatch doors behind her as she did so. As they closed behind her, Kim pulled back out a small handheld radio.

"Ron?" she whispered, her voice shaking.

"Bonnie, Lydecker, does anyone copy? This is Kim. I am in the Habitation Tower. If you can hear me please respond. Again, I am in the Habitation Tow-"

All of a sudden a large, black, something dropped out of a vent some ten feet from Kim.

The radio slipped from her hand as she fell to the floor with a loud thud. She wanted to scream but it was as if her voice did not want to produce any sound.

Kim looked up as the monster slowly got to its feet and stood at its full height. Kim guessed it must be at least eight or nine feet tall. Its domed head turned in the direction of Kim. She could see slime dripping from its mouth and onto the floor as it approached her.

"No – no, no, no!" yelled Kim, hysterically, as she began backing away from the creature.

The creature opened its mouth, ushering a low, deadly hiss as it moved towards Kim.

"No – no, no, no!" yelled Kim again, frantically reaching out and grabbing the radio.

This is not how the mission was suppose to go. This was not what she and Ron had signed up for. It was suppose to be an easy in, and out. In the back of Kim's subconscious she wished her father had done a better job of keeping her from going. Why had she persisted so much. If she had just let her father win, she would still be back on Earth with Ron, and Bonnie too, probably. They wouldn't be here stuck on some floating space station. They hadn't even been on Astraeus Station for more than four hours, and things had already gone to hell.

"Ron, please this is Kim. I need help please!" she cried into the radio.

He had to hear her, he just had to. They were always a team. They always had each others back. Kim had saved Ron's neck more times than she could remember, but she would never forget the time he had saved hers, saved Middleton, saved the world.

"Ron, please, damn it!" yelled Kim, tears running hot down her cheeks as the monster that would consume her nightmares until her dying breath loomed over her, it's long arms and fingers outstretched as though it was ready to embrace Kim into the blackness that was death.

All of a sudden the darkness seemed to crackle with energy. Caught off guard, the creature tore its gaze away from Kim, giving her time to shuffle away and put some distance between the two of them. Through the darkness came a blinding green light. Kim squinted as it came closer, growing brighter all the while. A dark figure leapt over Kim as she lay on the ground. The alien creature noticed it to as it turned around to face the newcomer. But too late. There was a flash of brilliant green light, and the next thing Kim knew, the creature lay dead upon the floor. It was as the figure turned around, Kim realized who was in front of her.

"You!" Kim blurted out, pointing a shaking finger.

"You, just saved your life. If I were you, I would be thanking me!" said the person.

Shego stood in front of Kim as the latter got to her feet.

"What are you doing here? This – this is all your fault, somehow? Isn't it?!" yelled Kim.

"Look, as much as I would love to have this conversation with you, we need to leave this room before your little friend does his disappearing act." explained Shego as she made her way towards one of the exits.

"Disappear – where are you going? More importantly, what are you even doing here?" demanded Kim, flailing her hands up over her head.

A sizzling noise began to fill the room.

"Where is that coming from?" asked Kim as Shego hurried past her.

Kim turned her head back in the direction of the dead creature, only to see that it was gone. Kim ran to the spot where it had fallen, dead on the floor, only to see that the floor had melted away completely. Kim could see it through the melted floor, and thw now exposed pipes, on the lower deck. An acrid stench filled Kim's nostrils.

"Are you going to tell me what on earth that thing was? What are you even doing here? I know this has something to do with yo,u and Drakken, if you're here." exclaimed Kim, pinching her nose and looking away.

"Look, red. Don't take this the wrong way, considering the fact that I just saved your life, but we need to go. I don't like you, but in no time at all that thing will have eaten right through the hull of this station if it doesn't stop, and we are going to have a huge problem on our hands." said Shego, marching back towards Kim.

The door leading off to the right hissed, and slid open. Five people spilled into the Habitation Tower.

"Ron!" yelled Kim, sprinting towards him and embracing him. She kissed him hard on the lips.

'Kim, are you alright?" asked Ron in a worried voice.

A few feet away, stood Lydecker, with Bonnie peering around his shoulder. Behind them both, stood Smith and Kelly, who out of everyone were still armed. Both Colonial Marines peered around the large empty space.

"Alright, we can continue this happy reunion later." said Smith, stiffly, his eyes pressed into the darkness.

"Agreed." said Lydecker.

" Finally someone with half a brain. I've already told the cheerleader this!" yelled Shego.

"Shego!?" screamed Ron, finally noticing the woman standing feet away.

Both Smith and Kelly turned their pulse rifles towards Shego.

"I just saved her life. I would point those things somewhere else, if I were you." hissed Shego.,angrily, her arms flaming up again.

Kelly slowly made her way over to where the creature had died. She looked down through the melted floor, then back at Shego.

"You killed it?" she asked.

"It? You mean, them?" said Shego, darkly, as her green flames went out.

"You mean there are more of those things crawling around this place?" cried Bonnie, hysterically, tears forming in her eyes.

"Look, we can all enjoy this cozy little catch up later. Right now, we need to get to safety because all this noise is going to bring more of those things down on top of us. You think dealing with one of them is bad?" said Shego, walking up to Kim and jabbing a finger into her chest.

"I don't know who the hell this woman is, but I think we should listen to her. Once we get somewhere safe, we can go from there, and decide what we wanna do." said Lydecker.

Behind him, Bonnie nodded.

Lydecker turned and motioned for Smith to take point. Smith nodded, took the motion tracker from Ron, and, pointing his pulse rifle down the corridor, lead the way out.

"Where are we going?" asked Lydecker, turning towards Shego.

Shego took a moment to speak.

"Drakken and I are hold up in the medical facility, along with a few others. We need to make our way to the transit station." said Shego in a quiet voice as the group proceeded down the hallway, Kelly bringing up the rear. The door to the Habitation Tower closed behind them.

"What are the two of you doing here? Where is your ship?" hissed Kim.

"I might ask you the same question, princess." said Shego, annoyed.

"How about you tell us what is the hell that so called thing was in the first place." asked Smith from the front of the group.

"Look, I have no idea what it is. All I can tell you is that it's a tough son of a bitch." said Shego.

"Language!" growled Ron in a whisper.

Shego rolled her eyes.

"They've got what we believe to be concentrated acid for blood. That's why it ate through the floor, and lower decks below it. We can only hope that it stops because a hull breach, will be the least of our worries, with those things running around. As to how it got on the station in the first place, well, your guess is as good as mine." said Shego.

It happened in the blink of an eye. As the group walked under one of the vents that ran along the ceiling, black, clawed hands descended down and wrapped themselves around Bonnie's jacket, causing her feet to leave the ground.

All of a sudden the motion tracker was alight, and beeping loudly.

"Bonnie!" Ron yelled, as the brunette shrieked in fear.

The rest of the group stopped and looked up. Kelly ran forward, her pulse rifle pointed up at the vent, while Ron and Lydecker grabbed any part of Bonnie they could to keep her from being dragged up into the vent.

"Ron, please, don't let me go! Please, don't let me go." cried Bonnie.

A loud bang echoed down the end of the corridor they had just come from.

"More of them are coming!" cried Shego, as her hands ignited into bright green flames. "We need to leave, now!" she yelled.

"No, we can't just leave her!" yelled Kim, angrily.

Ron and Lydecker tugged as hard as they could, but the arms of the creature curled around Bonnie's shoulders, and chest, and with one final swoosh she was gone. Ron fell back and landed hard on the floor. Lydecker made a fruitless attempt to pull himself up into the vent and give chase. Meanwhile, Bonnie's screams could be heard as she was dragged through the vent.

"We have to do something about her! " yelled Kim.

"And end up just like her? No, thanks. Quick, this way!" ordered Shego, taking the lead past Smith.

Then, the screams of Bonnie subsided, and the terrible hissing of the alien creatures filled the corridor.

Earth

Middleton, Colorado

Three Months Previously

"I don't know how I feel about this, Kimmie." came the uneasy voice of her father from the other side of the refrigerator door as he bent down to grab the gallon of milk.

James Possible closed the refrigerator door and walked over the the new kitchen table where both his wife, and daughter were sitting, enjoying their mornings breakfast. James had always stood by his daughter's decision to help the world whenever it needed saving, even if it had been on a school night, but this – well, a father had to draw the line somewhere, didn't he? For one thing, his daughter had just gotten home from her spring semester a few weeks ago and if he let her go through with this trip she would be leaving at the end of the week. For another, the thought of Kim skipping the start of her junior year of college was ludicrous, especially considering everything that had transpired over the previous two years. Graduation, alien invasions, college acceptation letters, and of course watching his little girl leave for her first two year at Vandercraft University had taken its toll on the man.

The summer after Kim and Ron's graduation had been a busy one for the Possible's. For starters they had to rebuild their home from the ground up. A not-so-easy task that had taken almost the entire summer. Anne had been working overtime for weeks at the hospital. A full scale alien invasion would see to her spending very little family time at home. James had also seen his fair share of what one might call a workload increase. After the demise of Warmonga, and Warhok, James and other employees from the Middleton Space Center had tried their best to get their hands on as much alien tech as they could. While most of it had been destroyed in the battle, James had explained to his wife and children that by analyzing the scraps and the wreck of the crashed spaceship, they had pushed the boundaries of science even further than they had ever thought possible.

"FTL travel has been around for a few years now. There are a few companies out there with that kind of money to back those kinds of advancements in interstellar space travel!"

James told Kim all about their own experiments with FTL travel and how he was hoping that they would soon be able to send maned expeditions beyond their own galaxy.

"We're hoping to have everything up and running within the next few years! Of course we are a few shakes behind some of the other companies out there. I heard a rumor that Weyland-Yutani is getting into the business of terraforming soon! They've already sent FTL probes out far past Pluto, from what I have read, and they have even started work on some sort of space station just inside of Mar's gravitational orbit. Said they want to use it as a halfway station for shuttles traveling out past the asteroid belt."

At the start of her freshman year, Kim had hung up her super suit and set aside hairdryer grappling gun, in exchanged for books and course studies with her boyfriend, Ron. She had decided to put her studies ahead of saving the world.

"The world can do without me for a little bit. I just hope it can tolerate Will's ego."

But, now Kim was home for the summer, having finished up her sophomore year of college.

"With all A's, not to mention making the Dean's list." James would tell his colleague's back at work.

James was glad to have his daughter back at home, even if it was only for a few months. It just felt good to have the entire family back under one roof again. The summer break had been quiet for the most part. Kim and Ron had been called upon by Global Justice to do some crime fighting here and there, but for the most part Kim was able to do some catching up with her family.

"I know it sounds crazy. I would have to take a leave of absence from school because I would miss the start of fall classes, but someone out there wants my help. Dad, and they are willing to pay for the rest of my college to get it. I have also spoken with a few of my professors and they told me I should take this offer. It's not every day that you get to travel to Mars. Just think how I can apply that to my studies." said Kim, as her father took a seat opposite her.

"That's besides the point, Kimmie." said Mr. Possible, sternly.

Kim bit her lip as she looked across her bowl of cereal at her father. She knew he was only behaving this way to protect her.

"Do you even know what these people want you to go out and do for them? Why do they need to send you? You're only fresh out of high school." said Mr. Possible.

"Yeah, and last time I checked Ron and I totally saved the world before I even started college. From the call I had with them last week, they just want to send Ron and I out to some station to make sure everything is up and running correctly. It seems like they have had some communication problems and want to send someone out who can get the job done." said Kim with a shrug.

"And they need you to do that? Don't they have their own people who can do the job? Who are these people again?" asked James, his spoon suspended in mid air.

"The company that wants to send us out is called Weyland-Yutani, and my site says that I can do anything." grinned Kim.

"Dear, you're being very quiet about all of this. Don't you have any input on this?" asked Mr. Possible who was clearly hoping that his wife would help him on the matter at hand.

"Sweetie, while I would rather our daughter keep both feet on the ground, I think that in the end it is her choice to make." began Anne.

"Yes!"

Jame's mouth fell open slightly.

"Look, Kim has been in many tight spots before, even when she was in high school. She is an adult now and we really cannot tell her when she can or cannot go out and save the world. If this company wants to pay for our daughter's college tuition in exchange for a six month trip to Mars to check some space station, I say we let her do it." said Anne.

"I don't think you can call checking out a space station to make sure the lights are on and the water is running, saving the world." scoffed James, his spoon suspended just below his mouth.

Both Kim and her mother rolled their eyes in unison.

"Didn't that Will guy take over for you when you started your freshman year of school? I don't see why he can't be sent on this little mission." began James changing tact at the speed of light.

Kim smiled briefly. It really was sweet of her father to try and keep her around the house while he had the chance, but she could not miss out on a trip like this. Kim remembered growing up and hearing about all the things Weyland-Yutani had made breakthroughs in while her father droned on about how if he had been granted such kind of funding.

"Will is still assisting foreign operatives in the Middle East. He's been out there for a few years now. And, it's like I said, they want Ron and I for this mission. Global Justice has already given us the green light, dad. I just need your approval." said Kim, putting on her puppy dog pout.

James breathed in and then exhaled through his nose. He could tell this was something he was not going to win.

"Daddy, you know I will always put my education first, but think of the kind of knowledge I will gain out there." said Kim pointing a finger towards the kitchen window.

James lipped twitched into a smile, and Kim knew she had said the magic words.

"Well, alright." he said.

Kim almost launched herself across the table, wrapping her arms around her father's neck.

'Thank you, Daddy!" she said, happily.

At the moment two brown haired blurs zoomed into the kitchen.

"What's this we hear?" asked one boy.

"Kim is going up into outer space?" said the boy's twin.

"Maybe she will be making a pit stop at Uran-" began the first boy before his father cut him off.

"BOYS!"

"Tweebs." muttered Kim under her breath as she finished her cereal.

Kim got to her feet and took her empty cereal bowl over to the sink just as her Kimmunicator went off.

Beep-beep-be-beep

"Go, Wade." Kim said as she left the kitchen and made her way down the hall, and up the stairs towards her bedroom.

"Hey, Kim. What did your parents say about the mission?" he asked.

"We are go, Wade!" said Kim with a smile as she closed her bedroom door behind her.

"So when do you and Ron leave?" asked Wade, taking a sip from his soda.

"We leave at the end of the week." replied Kim peeking in at her closet.

"You gonna take the super suit?" asked Wade.

"I don't think I'll need it. From what they told us, we are only going to be on station for a little bit. I think they said ten hours tops. Just to do a full systems check." said Kim.

"Still, it's kinda crazy that you would be leaving so soon. No real prep time, or anything for that matter." said Wade.

"Well, you know. The sooner we leave, the sooner we get back." said Kim with a shrug.

"I've pulled up as much information on the station as I could locate. From the looks of it, it's pretty new. Might even be one of a kind in relation to what its purpose it." said Wade.

Kim sat down on the bed as Wade spoke.

"From what I could look up, the station is used as a fuel depot. Weyland-Yutani has slowly started deep space mining and exploration, mostly in the asteroid belt." said Wade.

"English, Wade."

"Think of it as a gas station, in space." grinned Wade.

"That makes sense." said Kim.

"Weyland-Yutani has a few people stationed there, but for the most part the station is run by androids. From what I can dig up, they have about a hundred on the station. They keep an eye on everything for the most part." explained Wade.

"Yeah that's what they told me. When we get there we will be meeting up with whoever is in charge. They did tell me that we will be having an android with us during the trip. Someone to keep an eye on us while we are in stasis." said Kim.

"Stasis?" asked Wade, confused.

"Yeah, we will be in stasis pods for the three months journey. That's why Rufus won't be able to come along with us. They told me that we would be wearing special suits while we are in the freezer, as they like to call it. They just don't want to risk something happening to the little guy." explained Kim.

"Weird. I don't see why they don't use faster than light travel, seeing as they were the pioneer of it, because it would take you all of about three, or four seconds to get there!" said Wade, his brow furrowed.

"Well, it's relatively a new thing. Your dad was right about Weyland-Yutani being the forerunner of inventing FTL travel. With all the money they have invested into it, you would think they would be using it all the time when traveling throughout the solar system. Must still be very expensive. It could just be that they don't want to spend that extra money. Do you know who will be going on the mission with you?" said Wade.

"No, not really. I know that someone from the company will have to be there with us. They told me that Ron and I will get a full debrief before we ship out." said Kim.

Beep-Beep-Be-Beep

"Speaking of the boy wonder, that's Ron calling now. I'll talk to you later, Wade." said Kim.

Wade waved good-bye as Kim switched over to Ron.

"What is up KP? Did your parents give you the go ahead?" he asked excitedly.

"Yep, dad took a little convincing, but in the end he could see how much it meant to me. What did your parents say?" asked Kim.

"Dad wants me to bring back a space rock, or something. They are pretty thrilled about this company paying for my college." said Ron.

"You do realize we won't actually be on Mars, right?" asked Kim.

Ron's face fell slightly.

"I'll just take a pen, or something from reception area while we are on the station, thingy. He can settle for a space pen." said Ron, cheerfully.

Kim laughed at Ron's joke.

"It's going to be a real bummer not being able to bring Rufus along for the ride. I'm sure mom and dad will keep him company, though." said Ron.

"Well, if you want we can take him out to Bueno Nacho tonight. I know the company is going to want to have a sit down with us before the end of the week to go over the mission." said Kim.

"Sounds like a plan to me. I have to say this is probably going to be the coolest, easiest mission we have ever been on KP. " said Ron.

"You think so?" asked Kim.

"We are flying out to some station to check and make sure they haven't been over run by space pirates. Piece of cake." chucked Ron.

How very wrong he was

Authors Notes: Alright, I know what you're thinking. How could I do that to Bonnie in the first chapter? All I can say is Bonnie is one tough brunette, so don't count her out just yet. I am sure Kim, and the gang will mount a rescue mission.

Now that we have that out of the way, I want to thank everyone for reading chapter one of my new story. I grew up watching Kim Possible, and Aliens so it has been a lot of fun mashing the two together. I would like to assure everyone that this will not be your run-of-the-mill story were characters are killed off one, by one. This is not an AU, as I am going to do my best to keep things in the KP universe, even if I have to add a bit here, and there. I also want to point out that while Aliens is an R rated film, I will be keeping the story as close to teen as I can. There will be some course language here, and I can't promise that everyone will make it home in one piece, but I will be doing my best to keep Kim, and Ron true to themselves.
