Hi, all.
Unfortunately, I haven't written anything of late. This is one of five oneshots that I've had floating around Tumblr for many moons. I can't figure out why I've never posted them before, but I've been in a strangely MWPP-era mood lately and figured I'd do some minor editing and share.

Pillow
Lily had been enjoying her afternoon, having claimed a bench just outside the library. She'd just finished all her homework, and planned on burning a few brain cells with some shameless Muggle romance novels.
At least, until James Potter spotted her. Unfortunately, any hasty retreat she may have enjoyed was impossible, as she took no notice of him until he claimed the other side of her bench. He hoisted his feet onto the arm rest and deposited his head onto her lap.
"Get off, Potter." She groaned.
"I'm rather comfortable, actually." He was grinning, stretching his arms up into the air and causing his shirt to ride up an inch or two. She was not impressed.
'Insufferable prat…' Lily sighed. "My lap is not a pillow, Potter." She stated with quickly disappearing patience.
"I'm aware of the fact." He tugged his shirt down again.
"Get off." She shoved at his head.
"You like it." He winked at her.
"Get off," she said slowly, "or I will make you get off."
"Yeah? How?" He chuckled.
"Fine." She snapped her book shut. "You asked for it."
She braced her hands against the back of the chair and stood, sending James tumbling to the floor with a muffled thud.
"Ow…" he rubbed his nose and picked up his shattered glasses, staring after her as she walked away amid the gaggle of laughing students. "Bloody hell, Evans! Are you trying to break my face?!"
"It'd be an improvement!" He heard her call back over the chuckles of the crowd.
As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
