Hey all! Here's the next Oneshot. The theme about this one is the ups and downs of siblings relationships much like the ones I have with my brothers and sister.
"I can't believe you!" Nya seathed.
"What? All I did was say what was true!" Kai protested.
"That wasn't true, and you know it!" Nya screamed.
"Uh, yeah it is! I can't help that you can't make a simple decision. You're the most indecisive person ever! I'm surprised Jay's even going out with you after all that time you spent trying to decide between him and Cole. If I were him, I would've left you a long time ago."
Nya's eyes welled up. She turned around and ran for her room, "you've really crossed the line this time Kai!"
Nya hurried her head in her pillows and let out several body shaking sobs. I hate him! Who does he think he is? I wish we weren't related.
Nya raised her head. Dark memories filled her head. Wishing had gotten her nowhere before. It had gotten her killed. If it weren't for Jay...
"Nya?" A knock came from the other side of her door. Kai pulled it open and walked in, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said all of that stuff."
"It's okay," Nya sighed, "I didn't handle myself the best either. I was taken by surprise when you said you wanted to move back with Mom and Dad."
"You don't want to do you?" Kai asked.
"Not really. I'm happy here," Nya replied.
Kai smiled, "I know. It was too much to ask of you to leave it all. I just wanted to have you, me, Mom, and Dad all together as a family again."
"I do too, but I don't think it'll ever be the same again. Our place is here now. We've grown up," Nya sighed.
"So we'll stay here then. We have grown up quiet a bit. But for old times sake, can we just talk? We haven't done that in so long," Kai smiled.
"Okay. I've missed our chats too!" Nya laughed. She flopped down on her bed and Kai did the same, his head opposite hers but meeting up in the middle of the bed.
And the two of them talked and laughed like the brother and sister they were. It was just like old times. Maybe not as much had changed as it seemed.
I hope you all enjoyed. This was based on the fact that my brother Joey and I don't always get along the greatest. I'm trying to be more forgiving, but it's tough sometimes. Usually we're both in the wrong, but if we can't agree, we usually just put it behind us and agree to disagree after we argue for a bit. My prayer is that our relationship will continue to improve. We can be very on off sometimes.
A couple people requested Kai and Nya sibling fluff. I was a little adventurous and decided to make them get into a sibling fight. It just seemed more relatable, and I wish we could see more of this side of their relationship in the show. They get along unrealistically well in the show for siblings. All siblings have their squabbles, and I think Kai and Nya should too.
