Point Wilson

A/N: Done for a challenge on a board I belong to.
"So that's it?" The man clutching a cane said softly, not looking at the other man.
"Yeah, that's it." The other man said, putting the lid on the box sitting on his desk.
"You're just going to leave"
"I believe we've already established that House"
"Come on Wilson," House grunted, moving closer to the desk. "I know things have been a little hard lately, but we've made it through before"
"Things just aren't working out. I've got an offer at John Hopkins, and I'm going to take it." Wilson sighed, leaning against the box. House studied the oncologist in front of him, eyeing him suspiciously.
"You're actually serious aren't you?" He said, looking him over yet again. "I normally know when you're lying." House began to sulk, hurt that his boyfriend was leaving him. "What about us"
"I think it would be best if we took a break." Wilson said, picking up the box and moving from around the desk. He kept his emotions hidden, not wanting to make this any worse than it already was. "A break? How can you give up what we have?" House growled, running his hand through his hair. "What about the fishing trip we took"
"You mean the one where you got bored, moved and we both ended up in the lake?" Wilson raised an eyebrow.
"OK, how about when we made out in the janitor's closet?" House inquired, hoping one of these memories would be enough to keep him at Princeton Plainsboro.
"The time where we were almost caught by Ned the janitor?" Wilson added, once again moving behind the desk to close the window shutters.
"Come on Wilson, you can't leave me, or the hospital. You love this place, and everyone in it, this just isn't like you." House said, alarm bells ringing in his head. He must have seriously crossed a line somewhere that caused Wilson to want a break. "You're the Sonny to my Cher, the Robin to my Batman, the Rocky to my Dr. Frankenfurter," He paused, pushing those images out of his head. A small chuckle escaped his lips at the thought of Wilson in a gold lame thong. Wilson just looked at him, not completely sure where he was going with this. "the Shaggy to my Scooby Doo, or even better, the Watson to my Sherlock. We're two of a kind, kindred spirits, soul mates. Please don't leave me." House pleaded, not wanting his boyfriend to leave him. He'd be alone, and he didn't like being alone. "I'm begging you here, and you know I don't do that often"
"I'm leaving House, you're just going to have to cope. Besides, I'll only be a phone call away." Wilson said, picking up the box again, and moving to the door. "If it makes you feel better, I left you a parting gift in your office." He added, and with that, he left the office. House grumbled, stunned that he had just been dumped. Normally he was the one breaking things off with a partner, not the other way around. He made his way to his office, wondering what exactly Wilson had left as a parting gift. Opening the door, he found his white board in the middle of his office, with a note written in blue marker.
"Happy April Fools." Wilson said, reading the note from over House's shoulder. House whipped around and just stared at the oncologist. "Gotcha."
